This guy is the best, I was supposed to send him my logic board but the local technician in our country insisted to repair my unit.
How much would you charge to do the socket replacement?? I have a late 2014 iMac 27 5k.
first, that may be a dummy pin, second, you can solder it to the socket
Is it possible/fairly easy to replace broken or mangled pins without having to replace the whole socket? If so, what would I need and where would I get the replacement pins? Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Hi, the most important machine in this video is IR BGA MACHINE, jovy re8500. You cant do this with hot air BGA machine.

hi, can you tell me why is it require to put the board into an oven before using BGA station? at 0:47 won't the board be back to room temperate while you creating spacer? thanks
Hi, to avoid the board from warping(delaminated) because of air bubbles inside logic board wafer. The board usually warped out when the temperature reaches 217c, so the preheat@100c is required to prevent permanent damage to the board
So the board is still hot after you put on the screws which you showed here 0:47 ? It only last couple of minutes before the board goes cold again.. thats the only thing i dont understand sorry. :(
@@ngugame9554 no it was cooled already. That's why we can put the standoffs easily. The air bubbles are expected to not enter the board for 24h, so you gotta finish it the same day.
@@iBoffRCC thanks that makes sense. so its the bubble is the problem to cause board to warp.
