A voltage stabilizer does not change hertz if its 50 hertz in it doesn’t change it to 60 hertz it only stable the voltage it is actually a voltage regulator.
And powered are heavy too, not as heavy as passive , but powered are not light
Quite a few sounds in the UK are using mix Powered on tops & Passive on bass, my Sound was Passive but I changed to fully powered mainly because it's easier to carry. Let me add I think the powered tops sound better than passive hence why sounds are mixed
