Not gonna over complicate I’m a tradie and train in the morning before work and footy training after work so a normal day for me is wake around 4:30 am , work from 6:30-4 then footy training etc , I find that separating the bedroom and bed it’s self from things that stimulates you for example watching tv in bed / bedroom , should be for two things sleeping and …, even if you can’t sleep get up out of bed for 5-10 minutes go into another room and do something else then return to bed and try again , will create a great routine as your body adapts to understanding that this room is for sleep and one other thing.

Hey Jackson, I’m not going to lie or anything but my sleep routine is before bed I listen to some kind of podcast or something to relax my mind and semi distract me for the next day. I also try and avoid screens roughly 1 hour before bed but I’m pretty sure it’s healthier or better to extend that. I’d also recommend whoop because that can tell you your fatigue.
I head to bed around 9-10:30 and wake up 5:30.

Ooft I feel like a podcast would start amping me up again .. I suppose it depends on what you listen to. Yeah the screens is big for me I need to get off earlier. I have used whoop before but now use Garmin! Appreciate it 🙏🏽

honestly sleep is SO important to me! i always have magnesium 45-1hr before bed! Early dinner is a must but i also find ensuring my dinner is BIG enough so that i am not hungry in an hour! i also try my hardest to put my phone down and this is super hard but i find sitting in lounge room w the family makes it sooo much easier! bed time for me is 8:30-9 (i know i am a grandma) and i wake up at 5:00am daily naturally now!

Mate id figure out a way to finish up footy training earlier so your home and have eaten by 9-9:30 latest and in bed by 10. On these training days you need to be more proactive with your caloric intake aswell throughout the day, really try and front end your day with food so you're not only fuelled well for training but so you dont have to end the night with a big meal to catch up on calories which inevitably gets in the way of quality sleep as your body is too focused on digestion rather than shutting off.
Love your channel and vlogs mate, sleep is tough to get consistently right but start with some small changes

getting to bed feeling tired - not exhausted - is the way to go. The key is to fill your day in a way which will tire you out both physically and mentally so by the time you’re ready to sleep your body just craves it

I work shift work, so my sleep routine is all over the place. Going from day shifts and night shifts, trying to sleep during the day is a nightmare ! The most simple hack I have found is reading before bed, sometimes I can get a whole chapter in sometimes I only get 2 pages. But I feel like I sleep 100 x better and it shows on my sleep score on Garmin with more deep sleep then what I was getting !

It would be a dream to try Optimum nutrition! My sleep hack is to fall asleep and wake up at the same time each night. Always in bed by 8pm, ready to sleep by 8:30pm and consistently set my alarm for 6am. Your body gets use to a schedule and the body thrives off routine! Your body then starts winding down and getting tired because it knows you're going to bed at a consistent time. Also always have a peppermint tea before bed and no high sugar foods in the evening.

i believe that hitting the pillow at least 30 mins before actually going to sleep is beneficial because your body then has that 30 minutes to relax use this time to finish up editing or using your ideas ect then i find myself keen to go to sleep a lot of the time i put my phone just at the front of my room so when the alarm goes off your straight up i find a nice warm shower before bed also benefits u cos you get the cozy sensation try avoid the cold showers later during the night cos that could affect sleep there good in the morning to wake you up and send you dopamine throughout the day. love you stuff ❤
