TECHNICALLY, there can be 3 Marauders at one time already...but only via Archvile summoning

"Four Marauders? piece of cake" Zero Master, 2020
This is bringing "Shoot it until it dies" to a whole new level! Even though there are almost no Glory Kills (besides a bunch of chainsaw kills), this may be the most badass DOOM Eternal gameplay that I've ever seen. God, this mod looks so fun. If only I played on PC...
Zero said in his 2016's video that glory kills aren't to be overused because you lose momentum, and in general even in 2016 he used the chainsaw more than the glory kills, wich he mostly leaved to the end of fights.

He reserved glory kills for Doom Hunters.There were only 1 or 2 of them that didn't went out with a glory kill. Though the Marauders, he just shot them, minus last one.
I imagine this is what every inch of the battlefield is like in the lore. Most armies are less than 1 percent of their nation's population while hell is pretty much 100 percent. Their smallest deployments probably start in the thousands. There were probably tens of thousands at the super gore nest. A couple k cut down by the slayer himself and the rest were caught in the explosion and the end.
waste of time it would make sense to send every demon after the doom slayer at once to swarm him, but as seen here, if he kills all the demons in one go...
It is said by Dr Richardson in Arc Complex: "We slaughtered thousands, and millions more followed..."
Pretty much, yeah. According to the Super Gore Nest codex entry, their response to a few ships showing up nearby was to send 8,000 gargoyles.
In classic Doom fashion half of them would die to infighting haha
@@stardust_2339 honestly it's a bit of a shame that the infighting in Eternal is fake. At least I think it is, but if it ain't these enemies' health bars are way longer than my patience

I know there isn't a lot of footage of this mod online right now, but this is the first playthrough I've seen so far that doesn't heavily rely on using the side corridors to dodge projectiles and to funnel enemies.
Never thought that the legendary ZM would find this mod, but I am not disappointed in the slightest

@@meltman2929 Yeah, it seems like id Tech 7 is built for that. Particularly since they said that the engine scales with newer hardware. Looking forward to seeing how that plays out a few years down the line with even more powerful computers.
Beautifully done
The economy of movement is impressive, the instant the Arena begins you are repositioning to pressure and destroy the most dangerous enemies present. Then continue to keep up that pressure through the rest of the fight. Even when you are running from a spot that is being surrounded by demons you use that movement to attack another exposed target. It really illustrates the time and skill you have invested into Doom that you are able to manipulate the chaos and force a rhythm on to it.
This is so amazing, keep up the good work Zero Master!
Here at one point I see, 3 Marauders at once ... damn, you need a special edition DLC with 8 in them. The devs should honestly make a reaction to this.

The plasma gun is incredible against fodder, especially with heat blast.
It makes the first and 4th slayer gate super easy
Reza Killer there’s also a way to use the microwave beam to stunlock heavies, you just tap them with it for a second and it’s the same as a falter.
It wouldn’t work in a super hectic fight like this but in a lot of normal fights
The plasma gun on Doom Eternal looks cool. Cooler than Doom 2016's plasma gun.
Plasma gun’s microwave beam is great against doom hunters shields, and also very good for ultra nightmare runs in the first slayer gate. Just microwave beam the dreadnights till they’re dead. Don’t gotta worry about their attacks
ManNi I’m actually coming to the realization that the microwave beam is perfect for any situation where you just have one heavy on you.
Like after you can get the mod in the hell portion of exultia, it can carry you the rest of the way. Both of the spiders in the pit and the hellknight

And there are lots of spots in cultist base too (I’m currently going level by level practicing for UN)
But I already know from my 5 pre-practice runs that for example any time they put you in a hallway with a hellknight like in cultist base or arc complex, microwave turns it into easier fight than the first 3 zombies

this is so cool and actually plays into the games core strenghts, meanwhile this level is all swimming puzzles and platorming in the base game
This level is so fucking boring to play in the base game, easily my least favorite outside of the first two.

This is like taking a field sobriety test after taking 6 shots of Jagermeister one half hour before being pulled over while trying to stand straight before a highway Patrol officer except we're pulled over onto the side of the Autobahn in Germany during rush hour where the only cars allowed on the road are flying teslas that glide just above the surface of the road and the cop keeps switching, raising, and lowering his pen before asking repeatedly for us to keep our heads still and to ignore the Teslas and to try and stop moving and to only follow the tip of that pen's cap with just the surfaces of our eyes.
what i learned from this video is that a lock on burst and a heavy cannon shot will put a doom hunter into glory kill stagger. I N T E R E S T I N G
wow this is insane, I finished the game on I'm too young to die and struggling with hurt me plenty, even watching this vid had me pumped up and on the edge of my seat, a level of gameplay can only dream of attaining, great work.
now off to see if I can get to level 6 on horde mode, as frustrating as my weak gameplay is I enjoy this game immensely,
weird how addictive and fun this game can be, marauders I can handle but hell knights are a pain in the rear for me.

At 3:30, what the reason for delaying shooting there? Was it to maximise the AOE on the next shot? Amazing stuff, blown away but the constant momentum and damage you deliver.

I loved how you weren't afraid to use the destroyer blade. I find that people don't use it because it's too slow but at least in this mod, it made a lot of sense to slice through a bunch of them at a time.
I just wish there was more variety in the music choice. Listening to meathook on replay got boring after the third time.
