- Here’s the follow-up video to my West Texas Rockhounding video I uploaded a couple of days ago. The agates have been cleaned up and are ready for your inspection!

That weathered piece at 13:55 really is a stunner. So much character to lose if it gets polished up (although that would be fun too). I grinned when you said you might just keep it as is-- fun to see someone as experienced as you are contemplating material that might be difficult to improve.
Thanks for watching Cliff! I still haven’t decided what to do with all of them but I expect a couple will remain unharmed 😁.
Great haul! I cannot wait to see what becomes of these!
Thanks James! I start cutting this weekend 🤞.
Its like Christmas!! Great hounding Scott!!
Thanks Robert!
The penultimate (2nd to last) almost looks like Mexican Flame Agate. Your last nodule looks like it broke then slid a couple of inches, the healed back together. Yes, this bucket is a very nice collection and I look forward to seeing all the slabbing videos.
Thank you Stephen, I start cutting this weekend 🤞🤞🤞
Just what i was looking to see Texas agates 🙂
I’m glad I had them for you!
@@spwinaustin yeah I just needed to see the raw form of the agates in nature without being cut because what I'll see in the field won't be all polished an cut😎🤙
@@master-n-teachvirgo8557 I have the same issues just started RH this spring. It's hard-to-find info/videos online of them in natural state, so you know what to look for in the field. I have learned a lot from this channel.
Absolutely beautiful stuff. I'm ready to get out there as soon as the temperature drops!
Thanks James! Good luck when you get out that way!
Beautiful and intriguing. I predict some spectacular cutting , tumbling and polishing videos in the near future.
I will start cutting this weekend so stay tuned Jeannie!
You find some really nice material out there, just found your channel today & look forward to watching more ✌️
Thank you for watching! I just slabbed some of the rocks and, WOW, wait until you see the results! I just uploaded the video so hopefully you’ll see it soon.
I’ll definitely try to check it out 👍✌️
I'm looking forward to the seeing the surprises inside when you cut them.
I am as well Virginia! I start cutting this weekend 🤞
I didn't see a link the video of you finding them. Maybe I missed it in the video. Tried looking for it on you page but went down the rabbit hole lol and never found it. LOVE your videos Learn a lot from them thank you.
Thanks so much for watching! If you check my playlists you’ll see a group called Rockhounding. You will find it in there.
Been waiting on this one.
I’m cutting some this weekend so stay tuned…..
Looking forward to slabbing videos on these beauties!
I start this weekend so stay tuned….
Wow! Really nice finds…I would have a tough time figuring out a favorite. I really want to see what is in that agate nodule. That bizarre white one with the green that wouldn’t wash off…I would keep that one as a specimen.
Thanks Peter! I’ll start the cutting this weekend and hopefully have some beauties to report. I definitely won’t cut the green one anytime soon.
Those are some pretty nice rocks
Thanks Keith, I was very happy to find them.
That’s some quality stuff!
Thanks as always for watching Sylvia! Most of them are making nice slabs.
The next to last agate you showed I'm about 98 % sure that's an entire head of agatized corol ... a full colony lol
Oops I mean coral ...stupid spell check
Hey Joseph, thanks for watching! It will certainly be exciting when I finally cut it and see what’s inside!
You’d be hard pressed to call any of them agate. They are lovely, but not agate in my books! Just be aware that the bright yellow may be carnotite, autinite or gummite, all uranium minerals and all radioactive. I might be wrong, but check them out in case! Great videos!
Thanks so much for the feedback, I appreciate it!
The yellow looks like a sulfur you would see at a volcano
That’s an interesting observation Michael, thanks for watching!
Score ✨
It was a fun hunt Sylvia!
spheres ???
Hey Dan, thanks for watching! A sphere would be cool, that’s for sure.
Turn the big round one into a yoga egg 💁🏼🚬👀
That would be one hard yoga egg 😆. Thanks for watching James!
@@spwinaustin I bet that darker matter is really pretty going rock hunting tomorrow north east Colorado 🚬💁🏼
This man stole rocks from Big Bend National Park 😏
There would certainly be some great rocks there to steal, that’s for sure 😆. Thanks for watching!
