the back ground singer from most songs is Shiloh dynasty there kind of a unknown mystery they uploaded themselves singing to Instagram which is what x used in the songs i believe. Juice also has a song where he uses Shiloh dynasty vocals called run it was released for less than a day before it got taken down because Shiloh dynasty has completely disappeared from the internet so he couldn't get it cleared.
Fun fact: xxxtentacion hit Shiloh up and showed his admiration for their work. He then invited them to his studio to work on the 17 album together, which they did. X didn’t just use the samples, they worked on the album together in the studio, which is something not many people know about

I'm pretty sure X said somewhere that he made his tracks short on purpose to leave people wanting more, but even though they're short they dont feel like it most of the time IMO
Kendrick Lamar tweeter this after 17 came out "listen to this album if you feel anything. raw thoughts." then later that same day tweeted "5th listen"

revenge isnt written for jocelyn flores revenge was written for geneva most of the songs on this album was about her like depression and obsession, orlando, carry on, ayala and dead inside. jocelyn flores was a memorial song.
This is not true. (Garette’s) Revenge was dedicated to Jocelyn Flores, the girl who committed suicide.
The cover art was literally Jocelyn’s suicide note.
The soundcloud song description says: rest in peace, jocelyn, I will have my revenge upon the world
No doubt it’s for Jocelyn. Genius has a lot of comments pointing out the fact it was for Jocelyn as well
@@wolfshadow_Obama_Osama no what i meant was the lyrics on the song was about Geneva. the song was first previewed before Jocelyn even died 😭. he may have dedicated the song to her but it’s not about her. the lyrics wouldn’t make sense if it was about Jocelyn because it was already made before she passed. and the suicide not isnt even Jocelyn's its Garette lmao thats why the song was originally named Garettes Revenge.

I found this album within a few weeks of my first big breakup back in highschool. This album was my safe place if I was in a head storm of bad thoughts and feelings of depression/anxiety related to my relationship. The pace of the album is perfect and makes it so approachable, I would be trying to do homework and get through school while feeling and thinking terribly, so I'd pop on this album and lock in on my homework, just slightly numb to my emotional situation, just enough to keep my life moving. What a special album, glad you are getting into this.

Shiloh dynasty was the back singer in Jocelyn Flores, editn and carry on
she was posting on her IG account a lotta clips of her just singing and playing with her guitar
And in I don’t fully remember which year but probably 2016 or 2017 she uploaded her last post and just disappeared. Nobody until today knows what’s going on with her if she’s alive or not
and a couple years ago but not a long time, her IG page was deleted and that’s it
No way can’t wait to watch
