you should give the xraypad aqua control 2 a try if you havent, i used to get artisan but switched since one the xraypad is more affordable and it performs so well and doesnt get affected by humidity. im on my 3rd one now its great
Yeah x-raypad is the definition of what a great brand must be and everyone one need to try at least one of their pads.
I recommended the zero to a friend who sold his hien soft and since then he is extremely satisfied with the quality of the pad (and the price he paid for it compared to an artisan pad), I also had an hayate otsu soft and except for base i preferred the surface of my AC II Sakura (and yeah even if the stiched edge are not below the surface that's enough)
The AC II is an awesome pad and with every new pad release they are improving (even if sometimes pads name don't make sens like the equate and equate v2 which are really different), just some of their base are not perfect but if they were using poron like base it will maybe be too expensive (even if they are working on it if i remember correctly).
The AC ZERO and their new version of their cordura pad have a better base (kind of an unique mix between rubber and silicone, if i remember correctly), idk why they didn't used it on the equates v2 which seems to be even better than the AC II if u like fast pad.
And they have a really great customer service, a few weeks ago they sent me the wrong skates (they also have some of the best skates and grips on the market) they refunded me (took only two days after my complain to initiate the refund) i re ordered the skates and they sent me the good one this time and they also said than i can keep the wrong one, so i have 2 Jade and 2 Obsidian set for my DAv3, i'm an obsidian user because i main glass pad and even if Jade skates are not recommended because of lack of durability on hard surface they feel really greate out of the box and after the breakin period on that kind of surface.
I also had another issues with my X2 (the mouse was wobbling) but after a few hours of use the issue disapeared (installed correctly but the shape of the skates are really curved so maybe it's an issue than can happen sometimes on some mice), i told them on twitter and spoke with Jakeu about that (he had the same issue with their dots on one mice, and replace the dots can help) in the comment of one of his skates review (great and underated reviewer btw, like so many others). They even went and found the video themselves to read the conversation i had with him, i was like "What is that real ? Bro i told you i will send you the link if you want xD but they did it themselves". It was not even like talking to a customer service but like talking directly to a mice / mousepad / skates / grips enthusiast, i was blown away.
Even if i don't use their pad anymore (fell in love with glass pad), it's a brand that you can recommend to anyone (even if u live in EU and except for their deskpad the price are not too high, they also have some shop on amazon / aliexpress and even a custom mousepad shop on aliexpress in last april). They care and listen to their customers and deserve more.
Except their new type of base which is not on all of their pad, they have also another problem :
If you are in EU you can find the same dots skates on aliexpress and have 80 for the same price as 40 x-raypad skates, it's just come from another brand called ULTRAGLIDE. I tried both Obsidian and Ultraglide control and except the packaging they are the same. They also have a Jade skates clone but i didn't tried, they are called ultraglide speed if i remember correctly (thanks to stubbyfps a great reviewer who made an amazing spreadsheet for mice skates).
Oops, everytime i see a X-raypad products enjoyer i'm going too far 😅(also youtube please don't delete it, it took me so much time to write)
Edit: Also Vainsz use an Artisan ZERO and the AC II is faster and closer to the Hayate Otsu, maybe he should give a try to the Aqua Control Zero instead which is slower than artisan Zero but closer to it than an AC if i remember correctly but it can also depend of the softness of the artisan pad (the Aqua Control Zero is more balanced and has a better base) but both AC pad are insanely good for their price.

you can using wet towel to clean your mouse pad, that is the best way to clean mouse pad.. don't wash, washing powder, or water to clean...

How does DLSS and FrameGen affect performance on these laptops? I can’t seem to find anything about FG with the laptops anywhere lol. I play MSFS but FG on desktop makes it so smooth, I am trying to find out if it will have a similar effect on the laptop. Any info would be appreciated:)

Just answer my question. Do you always use power supply of the laptop on while working on your setup or you operate on your laptop's battery too . And what do you recommend to always keep on the power supply or use battery after charge is finished on your setup . because i also have the same exact setup you have . A secondary monitor, rgb keyboard, wireless rgb mouse and the same exact laptop . Please answer my question i would really appreciate it .

They either Overheat? Do you mean throttling? Because it's rare, it only happens in very cheap laptop not intended for gaming. For example laptops with MX series and Intel U cpu, they throttle a lot when used for high fps gaming without proper airflow.
The real problem in the past is the performance is lower than desktop counterparts

Are u sure that's not an Asus rog strix scar 16? Cuz u hv the 2023 version of it which comes with i9 13th gen and 4080 whereas the g16 used to come with rtx 4050 and 4060 only
