Bonjour.
@@paulrose6359 Vega and Porsche cylinders were etched Al-Si. Chevy was first to market, called Alusil for the Vega, then Lokasil for Porsche. Plenty of articles about it. Porsche improved the tech and process, but not to the durability level of a nickle or iron sleeve.

I have a 2003 Carrera 4S. Best car I have ever driven!
+navysealsix I have the same in Seal Grey
Seriously! I have an ‘01 4 cabriolet. It is the best car you can get for the money and dare I say in its class, no matter the year.
I have the 2004 C4S Cabriolet and love it!
Love these cars. I have a black 2003 Targa....
Really neat vid with the .2 cars. Ive got a 99 coupe (4/98 build, every option checked) and the original introduction DVD for the .1 cars.
4S真是漂亮
They forgot to mention the Chevy Vega inspired cylinder technology.
I bought a Vega GT new and now own a 996 and I can assure you they have NOTHING in common.
