57:08 Dating for optics and by social media standards rather than your own is so dehumanizing. It's so important to know yourself. Be authentic and let that authenticity determine where you find joy in the dating process. Also the best thing I've done since deciding to date for marriage, is sitting down with married couples in my family, and asking them about their relationships. It's very meaningful to get advice from people who've known you your whole life. Be selective with who you are getting advice from. If not, you can unnecessarily internalize shame because you decided to go on a coffee date and some random woman told you it was bad. Online advice can be useful, but you have to ground yourself in reality! Give yourself grace to make mistakes and adapt along the way. Enjoy your journey sisters!

28:48 I had a really good clear conversation with a guy recently. We are similar and we got on well. However, he wants house, marriage and kids whilst I want a future (not now) long-term non-live-in relationship but no marriage or kids. It was one of the best and clearest conversations I've ever had with a guy. We now know that friendship is our maximum potential.

1000% this! This is how me and previous bf met (granted, finances were also challenging at the time lol) but in retrospect, it's such a wholesome way to get a genuine feel for who someone is.
29.37 - Courtney made such a valid point & it needs to expressed at every single stage of the relationship. Expressing expectations, changes to expectations & clarification of meaning every single time, As and when they arise. Sometimes it's clear in the beginning and then fizzles due to lack of this integral communication from both sides.
Depending on her age and what she wants in this season, she must adhere her actions accordingly. If she’s in a position of long term partnership, she should let go of her current situation and see if it comes back when she’s ‘healed’.

Yaaaaas Renee your response to the dilemma is everything !! Cause I was like WHAT ?! Girl you are the problem respectfully. And as a woman who has cheated emotionally you were wrong so I’m glad that was addressed . I also 100% agree with CBD because this was my thought also ! Why are you even trying to talk to this man UNLESS he wants to talk leave him alone . You can take the integrity issue up with God . I do think it be nice to know the breakup wasn’t all his fault but also it’s not a need to know necessarily .
