The day I accepted that I may never get married and that “True Love” ( in the traditional sense) doesn’t necessarily happen for everyone … is the day I truly started living… I was no longer “waiting” … I was just living… and whether I marry or not, I know I am giving my life MY ALL and I truly appreciate the people that are currently in my life ❤
Girls, first time I comnent on a dilemma. I'm usually up for communication, but on this one, I would just ghost the horrible "friend" because she knows all well what she's been doing! I think they've just grown apart, so I would let her go and definitely find another healthy friendship...
Being patient is a life skill. We want things now and having to wait makes us feel uncomfortable. It’s definitely like planting a seed now and expecting the fruit in 5 minutes. Waiting is hard but we grow so much in our waiting season 🌸
I’ve watched you guys’ channel for about two years and I’ve meant to say this each year your birthday comes up but Courtney you and I share the same birthday!! I will be turning 29 on Saturday. Super cool to share a birthday with you! Hope it’s the start of a very blessed year!

About the dilemma, I think it's important to ask: Have you spoken to her about this before? I'm a first gen in London from Nigeria and have been in situations where I feel taken advantage of because in friendships with people back home I am the "richer" friend. I can imagine her friend thinks that. It's wrong but it's normal. I'd say explain how you feel without all the anger. Check her intentions. If she really has just always wanted to use you, it'll show. On the flip side, she may be genuinely sorry. So just be conscious about how you navigate the conversation.
About the rest thing, how does that apply when it comes to chronic illness and still wanting to pursue your goals regardless? Cuz not everyone wanna wait until a cure is found or they’re better to pursue them.
