It's funny... this is the first PC Music track I ever heard, without even knowing what the label/genre was. All I knew was that it sounded different and I liked it and vibed with it. It's the track I remember from my depression returning in late 2015 (♪"I thought I was free"♪) and recently PC Music/ Hyperpop has been the thing that's finally started to pull me out of this and remind me that I *can* be truly happy again. Approaching the track from the other direction hits different
Sticking labels on things doesn't make them new. This is a very retro style of house music, and the techniques used are reminiscent of the 80s and early 90s. Dig deeper, you may discover a lot of good (similar) music from the past 2 or 3 decades.
