As a New York girlie finding an apartment and a 1 bedroom at that with actual space is near impossible. And the pricing out here is outrageous. You'll get more space with a 2 bedroom for sure but the 1 bedrooms are literal closets. That's why I moved to jersey city. I know its hard but I hope you find something that suits you. And welcome to New York ! Im so happy that you are living your life and following your heart wherever it leads you. So inspiring

I would suggest downtown Brooklyn…near the Barclays. It’s far from touristy. There is Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Chic Fil A, Target and Sephora within walking distance. Other areas to look into in Brooklyn are Williamsburg (by the water), Fort Greene and Clinton Hills. Also, LES (lower east side), SoHo and Jersey City are good options.

Hoka shoes - I literally just switched to the same exact shoe. I walk atleast 9 miles to 12. I was in so much pain so I had to stop. Switched to the Hoka Mach 6 and I have no foot pain at all. I finally enjoy walking again. I even started kick boxing for the first time in them. No pain at all. Total comfort.
I feel you on being so tired and energy so low. I just got back from a few days in Barcelona, Spain yesterday evening around 7pm, but I flew into London, England first and spent a few days there before coming back home to the DMV. After showering and eating I went straight to bed like 9pm and woke up around 1030am. I got up to eat breakfast around 11am before it got too late (I do intermittent fasting) and boom opened UA-cam to find your video 🙌🏽🙌🏽 to watch!! If you want to stay near hustle not be directly in it, I recommend the Eastside. I lived in Nomad/Murray Hill/Turtle Bay for years and it was awesome. You can hop right on the 6 train be at all the 5th Ave Stores in minutes. Or you can walk which I preferred to do.

as someone who has struggled with acne since my teen years i completely understand what you were saying. i truly don’t care if other ppl have acne because to me they still look amazing and honestly i hardly notice. but on me i absolutely hate it and i’ve struggled with my confidence so long because of it. now it’s just kind of hormonal so that’s a plus ig but my uneven skin tone from the acne scars really makes me feel self conscious. i guess im saying all of this to say you still look absolutely gorgeous and sometimes we just have little hiccups with our skin but that doesn’t define us.

@@ShillingCoinsW yes exactly you definitely need a car or you will be stranded. My brother tried to live with me for a little while and Atlanta and he had to end up working to get himself a car. And we had all the basic necessities within walking distance. And yeah, you are totally right! Everyone that I know living there either moved there after college with like a really good job or are people I knew growing up who stayed there and currently live with their parents and rent controlled homes.

There are several areas and you’ll actually be minutes from the city and best part, you might not have to downsize and maybe get a condo girl. Soooo I say consider expanding your search 🤸🏾♀️💗💗

as someone who has struggled with acne since my teen years i completely understand what you were saying. i truly don’t care if other ppl have acne because to me they still look amazing and honestly i hardly notice. but on me i absolutely hate it and i’ve struggled with my confidence so long because of it. now it’s just kind of hormonal so that’s a plus ig but my uneven skin tone from the acne scars really makes me feel self conscious. i guess im saying all of this to say you still look absolutely gorgeous and sometimes we just have little hiccups with our skin but that doesn’t define us.
