I would definitely LOVE to see more Squid x Stampy content because y'all play off each other's personalities really well. But if y'all did do something together, I'd want it to be something new and original. As much as I love the old series, the mod packs, the adventure maps, even your appearances in Lovely World, I still think that it's better to move on and do new things

I've been watching your channel since I was a child and being an adult now having watched the both of you, it's nice to see you both caring about your families and self. I think it’s very healthy for “influencers” to have a life outside of their videos. It’s amazing knowing that Squid is enjoying being a dad and having those experiences off camera. Squid and Stampy “raised” so many of us and it’s great that they are now able to relax and enjoy life away.
Stampy ended his story on his terms. He created a world and story that brought joy to millions Not many people can say they did that. Stampy can say that for the rest of his life. He will always be a Legend.
It’s great to know Stampy and Squid are still getting along, even if they don’t record together anymore.
I started watching both you and Stampy in 2015, the day that Stampy ended his series was harder on me then I thought it’d be, fr there was a time in my life that I was going through depression and you and Stampy’s videos were at apart of the things that helped me. When it ended I cried pretty hard I admit.
As for you Squid, you and Stampy doing those maps together, the Quest series, building time, etc, they made my entire day bright. Now Stampy has ended his series and now you have a son, I’d say I’m proud of you AND Stampy for those achievements,
Pretty soon actually I plan on starting a YT channel, I doubt I’ll succeed with Gen Alpha so much more different then Gen Z, I doubt they’ll be interested in what I have to offer, but it’s worth a shot.

My now adult son watched you guys as a kid... that's how I got started watching.. Now he has moved on and I still watch. Certain people just go together, original Top Gear, Friends cast, and you guys in the Minecraft crew from 10 years ago... I always appreciated how you, Stampy and Ash interacted and kept things light and fun. It is a true escape from every day life even still and I believe you guys could collaborate and talk about peanut butter and fish oil and I would tune in and laugh.
I hope Stampy and Squid are able to achieve what Dan has accomplished.
Dan managed to to do what he loved and still maintained his audience. I hope that both Squid and Stampy can do the same.
I still watch Dan because feels with and he’s targeting to anyone without swearing or making 18+ jokes Dan doing good job Stampy and squid they don’t really do it as good as Dan did with keeping the audience and stuff but aye it isn’t bad

Squid is responsible for my love of Minecraft, Ark, and Scrap Mechanic, all three of which are my most played games.

I am devastated to see Stampy go because he was the FIRST UA-camr I ever watched. He got me into UA-cam, he introduced it to me. Because of him I found you, Dan, Martyn, Ash, Mark, Jack, etc. But, he has more than earned his break. I hope he enjoys his time and comes back to UA-cam ONLY if he wants.
Now, on to you Squid since this is your video. I’m sure hear this all the time, but I had a rough time growing up and you helped get me through it. Even though Stampy was my first UA-camr, when I got home from school you were the second channel I went to, only behind Dan. As a matter of fact, you were the direct reason I found Dan. I loved your Minecraft mini game videos so much, that I started looking for more and found him.
In high school I started to stop watching UA-cam and gravitated towards tv shows. But a year ago my life got flipped upside down as the worst chapter of my life began, and is still ongoing today. That is when I came back to all of you, my childhood father figures. I was shocked to see how much had changed, and that half of you have kids now! I will be turning 21 in a few months, but whenever I open UA-cam you are the first channel I go to now. When you haven’t uploaded a new video, I go to your old ones (currently have been watching ALOT of bed wars). I’ve been watching your videos daily for the past year, and you help me just as much now as you did 10 years ago. So, I want to give you a big fat thank you.
P.S. if you ever come to the US and need an NYC or Long Island tour guide, I got you haha.

I've been a netizen since 2004, and in that time I've seen the rise and fall of a lot of content creators. I remember when you and Stamps stopped recording minecraft content regularly, I think "Race to The Moon" was the last series that the two of you were involved with. But because I follow so many creators, some of whom have been more transparent about the process, I think that there's a lot of things people don't think about when they try to suggest creators go back to old content.
Stampy's Lovely World was always aimed at younger kids, and as much as it basically set the codified tropes for SMP content, no one has really done it like him, and part of that is because most other SMP content are designed around trying to get collaborative views. As you said, you weren't a main character of his series, it wasn't like when you, Ash, and Amy did "Attack of the B Team" where it was "Okay watch this episode! Now go watch Amy's perspective over here! Okay now go watch why ASh spent half the episode screaming in terror!" But Stampy's video, the helpers were there to help move the story and progress the buildings along, which is why they were all faceless voiceless characters not tied to any real people. Well that's not the ONLY reason, but other people have gone into THAT in depth elsewhere so I won't touch on it.
But if I recall correctly, something you said when you first stopped making collabs with him, and I think Ash said it as well when he sold his channel, was that you kind of wanted to step away from being kid-friendly and go to making gaming content that didn't really fit the "family friendly" vibe that Stampy was making, which he kind of addressed in his video as well, talking about his Bonus Points channel. And a lot of people don't get that. A creator can easily be trapped by their own content, and need to end it so they can explore and figure out new processes.
Add to the fact that the changes in the UA-cam algorithm means now, numbered serieses don't do as well? Content is changing. Stampy has earned his rest and then some.
i love hearing that squid can take a step back and relax and do this for fun, him saying he loves spending time with his son brings me joy.
i started rewatching you and stampy’s quest/challenge videos for nostalgia, but carried on watching out of genuine interest and entertainment, props to you guys for being so real and entertaining 🙌

Since Lovely World ended, I've already started re-watching Quest and I plan to rewatch Crazy Craft, Building Time and Islands of Eden. Still, I will always love you and Stamps doing content together, so would love to see another collab in the future, near or far!

I recently started watching lovely world again and it's genuinely because I enjoy it. The simple positivity is everything, and it helped me get out of a very numb period in my life. It saddens me to see it go, but that just means new horizons. With the joy that you two have created, I hope I can follow in your footsteps, and bring some of that light to my viewers in the future.
It's great to hear you are really enjoying UA-cam so much as a hobby nowadays! I was around at the start of the channel, but I've come back now, not for the nostalgia, but for the excellent quality of content produced. The quality really has aged like a well matured wine. I’ve been rewatching all of race to the moon again and it’s been so nice to go back to the videos I was watching back in second grade when they were first coming out. I feel completely the same way though. Nothing is ever going to be the same as it was then. It’s in the past, it’s meant to be in the past, but that doesn’t mean you can’t go back and relive all of it.
You and stampy were my entire childhood. I would go to you when days weren't great and yall always made me feel so much better. Even tho I haven't watched you guys much recently and yall aren't a big part of my day or life anymore, I'm forever grateful for you guys.

To be honest when i saw his video and watched it i didnt feel sad at all if anything i saw it as such a huge opportunity for stampy to explore the gaming world so much more and to experience new things and just find a lot more enjoyment through gaming. Who knows where the next few years would take up but hes been going strong for MANY years.. heck my whole childhood, teen to now young adult years. Im so proud of stampy for doing this and thankful for everything hes done for us and this community as a whole. ❤ I wish nothing but the utmost best for him and wherever his future takes him. 🎉
I have just now become an adult, and seeing these guys bringing the entertainment of my youth and other peoples child hoods, is awesome. And they’re right they need to move forward just as much as we do. And yes I am a little sad that the thing we grew up with is coming to and end. watching squids skyrim series was the beginning of a whole community that i grew up with i enjoy coming back and its understandable that they want to step back it’s incredible how long its been going on much respect

I came here after listening to the new MAC podcast, and I would love one last adventure map series, but I understand if not! I've been popping into both channels for years now just to watch some lighthearted vids with two of my old favorites, and it's so awesome to see this content. The closer of Stampy's lovely world and that podcast were like the perfect send offs for me, and I can't wait to see what else happens in the future!

I agree with your thoughts and opinions, you both have been on UA-cam for a long time now and deserve a well earned break. I think it is appropriate that focusing on yourself, family, other hobbies, etc. is perfect/healthy, youtube is a small percentage of your lives. Keep doing what you are doing, always going to support no matter what :)

I really do appreciate both of you, I've grown up watching both of you so so much in my childhood. Every series I did admire, especially the Minecraft Pixelmon, and as much I would love you todo all these series again, it wouldn't be the same and It would be pointless. We just need to thank you for those memories and your time in the past. Its just very crazy that this year I am 19 and I remember watching you when I was 10 and 11. I really did love the Minecraft UA-cam community back then, but a lot has changed over the years a lot has changed. I still watch the old videos I have watched building time, race to the moon and mars, I watched squids got mods, stampys lovely world, quest series and I am like those were good times ☺️ and I completely understand making videos is hard and then people saying remake series and stuff but it’s like you have already done that it wouldn’t be as fun anymore and then nobody would watch them because you’ve already done it before but I just want to say I still love the old videos and new ones they make me laughI love updates and hearing you and stampy doing good in life. I have watched you and Stampy since I was like 11 or 12 now I’m 21. You and Stampys videos have always made me smile ☺️ I appreciate you guys ❤️
It's so upsetting that he's ending it but I understand as I am literally watching this video for nostalgia 😂. I'm literally about to be an adult and you and stampy were literally my childhood.

Watching you both since childhood - you’ve both changed a lot. I’ll even say this, yeah I’m a long time viewer and have been here since I was a child and I do go back and watch old videos but I do get where stampy comes from!

Hi Squid, hope you're doing well! I'm glad you're in a much happier state of mind now and im glad that you're happy with a son and in a position to do UA-cam full time! Honestly, both of you have done such an amazing job over the past decade, but definitely focus more on yourself. like you said, I like the fact the community you have now is smaller and is less pressure on you, its nice to be able to interact with fans and it gives fans the opportunity to interact with you. Keep up the good work Squid! :)
I’m enjoying your new videos squid, in a way they feel the same as it was years ago but it also feels very different. I will always enjoy you and stampys older videos more but I love the new vids too in a different kind of way…
