Turn your Truck or Car into a Generator⚡️! Sure we have all experienced a moment just like what happened in Texas where we were without power. Yet we drive around Generators every day without taking advantage of their capabilities. 🤦🏻‍♂️
How do we do it? 🤷🏻‍♂️
I installed a 2000w (watt) DC to AC Power Inverter in my work truck (well every work truck should have one). To do this we install all the large gauge Cables required to carry the current! The larger the better. Small cables will melt. 🥴🔥
I run a (+) cable from my main battery on the truck into a diode that keeps the Inverter from discharging the main battery (very important so you don’t get stuck without a cranking battery) and then ran the next cable from the diode to a 12volt Deep Cycle Battery. (Run this in a Parallel Circuit OnLy!)
Then from the positive line I run a cable under the truck and into mg toolbox area where the inverter is mounted and run a negative cable back to the negative on the deep cycle battery.
Hook up all the cables and BINGO we are hot and good to go!
