- Here's a diary of everything I made for my spring collection! I wanted this to be nice and relaxing with some ASMR too :) Almost all the materials were secondhand so I'm so happy I get to give these materials more life whether thats through knitting, crocheting, or sewing. I hope you enjoy and maybe get some inspo from these projects!

If you don't know me, I'm a recent grad in her 20 somethings trying to figure out what to do with my life. I recently moved to Durham, North Carolina and I'm excited to explore the area! I run a small clothing brand called minigru studios where you can find my hand made knit and crochet items. I don't use patterns but I can try to teach you my techniques and processes :) I am always open to suggestions so feel free to reach out!

i’ll make a tutorial on the lavender one sometime next month! the cream one is the same technique as my raglan guide video on my channel but less rows on the sleeves to make it short sleeve! hope this helps :)

I was planning to do something like that for me, but I got sick and the motivation vanished. Now, Im kinda more motivated to start sketching my pieces.

Sketching is such a great way to solidify ideas so you dont forget about them :) even if you don't make them they can lead to so many other ideas! thanks for watching
that golden shell stitch top is EVERYTHING!! I've been obsessing about it since I first saw this video and keep coming back to it! but I was at a local yarn store and I think its the Cuzco brand baby alpaca blend (with cotton and wool) because I saw a yellow just like it!! This video was SOO inspiring!!
The golden yarn is too good I'm holding on to the rest of it until I have the perfect project! :) its actually pingoiun yarn but I can't find it anywhere else so I will definitely have to check out the cuzco yarn because I do really like the color of it! thanks for watching!

As someone who also loves sewing and knitting, sometimes without any patterns, this was really fun to watch. I am definitely gonna stick around. I also have lost parts of garments that I made, because I accidentally put them into another fabric. It is really weird, what we sometimes do accidentally.

I'm now making a checkered green and white crochet bag, and I thought of making a green blouse (sew) to complete my look.

I'm begging you to drop the pattern for the first tube top, its an absolute dream
I'll try to show in a future video!! :) It was very simple though I just cut a rectangle out that fit around my body + a few inches then sewed a casing for the elastic on the top hem. & then you can also add a lining which is pretty much the same process and I used french seams for that! Then sew the lining and lace together and feed the elastic through the top casing! hope this helps! :)

thank u! 🤍 i don’t have a pattern for the dress 😢 i kinda shaped it based off the green dress i showed at 8:15!! (mostly just a rectangle that tapers in a bit at the top) hope this helps!!

i love your designs so cute, i wanted to ask tho how did u get into sewing im a crotchter but i really wanna start getting into sewing but idk how to build up from the basic basics to the advanced advanced if you know what i mean 🤭
I totally know what you mean!! Just start with small projects that use different techniques and watch a loooooot of videos! you'll start to pick up on the lingo that people use to understand more about garment construction! I also keep a little sewing journal where I write down the techniques that I've learned & the machine settings etc so I don't have to go back and find videos all the time!!! I hope this helps! I still am constantly learning and also constantly frustrated haha I find that taking breaks from it is helpful in the long run. thanks for watching

I did! I traced it off of an old dress that I have. It's an American Apparel babydoll dress that I modified :)
where do you get second yarn? I'm having such a hard time findings places haha
Im fortunate to live by a creative reuse center where people donate craft supplies so check if there's one in your area! Or else it's just kind of a hunt at different thrift stores! sometimes I'm lucky sometimes not haha
