I think the Joselu mention is unfair because everyone knows that it is just a stop gap signing before they get Mbappe and he has done reasonably well for them this season.

100% Agree. Real madrid never signed him to replaced Karim Benzema. He is just a temporary signing, to give more options in attack.
Exactly. He says he didn't include CR7-Obertan or CR7-Mariana for that very reason, but includes that one. Benzema-Joselu. He also included Suarez-Balotelli, however Balotelli was never a direct replacement. Liverpool only signed him because they missed out on all of their top targets, but let's not mention that, because it isn't entertaining enough. He seems to have an agenda against Liverpool.

Bit like how people slag off Tom Anderson, because Facebook ended up killing off his creation, MySpace. He sold it to News Corp just before it's peak for over half a billion dollars and now he travels the world doing photography, just living his best life. I think he did rather well, I'd swap lives with him!

ähm no. He is born in Berlin and Klinsmann made him a german International around 2004. In total 19 games for germany, was part of the confed cup team from 2005 and was in the 2006 worldcup sqaud. He even played a whole game against Ecuador at the group stage. He did his last games in 2009 against china and U.A.E. I was a semi regular attendee at Ewood Park as a child/teenager, but after watching them get relegated in a dreadful 0-0 game against Wigan, I think I've been to like 5 games since and that's because the Venky's have ruined the life and soul of the club! I remember when Rovers were fighting for europe, now they're fighting to survive in the championship after being relegated to league one. Even if they sell the club, I don't see a way out of this mess anytime soon
It was 1-0 to Wigan. I also don't claim to know too much about Blackburn, but look at the fall your opponents that day have suffered - similarly Bolton. Both similar size north west clubs to Blackburn and both hit admin not long after falling from many decent years in the Premier League. Portsmouth, Derby, Charlton and many more Premier League regulars from the early 2000's have suffered greatly since dropping out

Nmecha was injured for most of the season and Sabitzer is arguably Dortmunds best midfielder at the moment. It’s hard to compare them to the rest of the list. The loss of Guerrero was worse for Dortmund.

The Walker Trust was fairly disinterested in owning/investing in Rovers so the sale wasn't a surprise.. the downgrade is unreal though. The decisions they made before our first relegation were mind boggling and seemed like they were trying to get us relegated.
Just your typical Asian owners tbh. Come in with no football knowledge thinking spending guarantees success, then flip out at the manager and either lose interest or after several years become semi-tolerable owners but who are still hated because of the initial car crash.
For the record, American owners are crap for a different reason. They see the club as a regular business and cash cow and fail to understand why it doesn’t perform like one.

This is currently, by far, the best season in club history, one which could result in their first ever qualification for Europe in over 70 years of existence. There's a fascinating story to tell, from going bankrupt and slowly climbing back, to various great names that played there such as Ribéry, Makélélé or José Luis Brown, to the story of the Brest president going up against the Colombian drug cartel. Plus, you can have a lot of Brest related puns.
Might be better to do that now more than ever as Brest as hit a rough patch form, including a draw against last place Clermont which saw their starting keeper get sent off

This Spanish clubs could break an unwanted records this season of becoming the first clubs in Top 5 European Leagues to be relegated without grabbing a single win. Since they only accumulated 7 points (as a result of the 7 draws, not 2 wins and 1 draw), this club will easily surpass Derby County's infamous 2007/08 Premier League season, when they had only 11 points (1 win, 8 draws, 29 losses). This is another feat for the major leagues with 20 teams and 38 games (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A).
2.The controversial Asian Cup, which was already concluded in Saturday. We saw how Qatar won back-to-back Asian Cup because of harsh referee decisions, most notably the 3 successive penalties during this year's Final against Jordan.

To be fair to Balotelli, it's hard to score when you are not played to your strengths or barely play any type of significant minutes. If you look at his numbers at Nice and Marseille after leaving Anfield, it shows that once he is played and played in a role that matches his style of play he can excel, you can even look at his time at Man City in the Prem which shows once he is played by a competent manager he will score goals. Also they finished 8th the season after Balotelli left which is 2 places lower than when he was there and didn't get into the top 3 again for another 3 seasons.
