You have plenty of content on this channel, on the Underdogs, and as guest appearances on other channels if people want to see your comedic side. Those videos are amazing and important to the brand, but for these tournament replays, get your sweat on. I would personally prefer these ones to be more analytical. I've loved the idea of you bringing competitive smash to casuals.

I don’t agree on the competitive over to casuals thing. I would personally hate if I ended up facing some mega sweat when I’m not good at the game. It would just ruin my overall mood.

I love hearing your thought process it makes it super rewarding to hear the habits and stuff and then be able to see how they are actually happening and being able to predict them. It helps a lot to hear how a player like you thinks. I mean it!

Hey poppt, great vid! I personally love when you get "too analytic" as I think you really have a way to explain yourself that is easy to understand, even if the listener is not "pro player level"
If you have some tricks on how to find your opponent's habits and patterns in the next analysis video, I'd love that :)

Honestly I think you're being too analytical about whether or not you're too analytical. Just do your thing, these videos are great!
Your insightfulness and balance is just right because you're not trying too hard to be analytical or funny, you're just busting each aspect out when it feels right.
Not every tournament is going to present the same number of opportunities for either, so just let the experience/gameplay dictate how you approach it.

  • @MD.1111

You're funny regardless dude. And there's tons of videos of your comical side already. The analytical videos like this one are really interesting and extremely helpful. When you used to do daily uploads "except no-video Sunday" and most of the videos were just you playing online, you would throw in little tidbits here and there about what the opponent was doing or what you were thinking and that information was so valuable in me being a better player. I say keep this stuff analytical.
It can even be both at the same time. Talking about how Bowser can just cheese Chrom's recovery, and how to adapted to how they were recovering high/low/whatever was analytical and helpful, and seeing it play out time and time again was funny to watch. That right there is the perfect mix of analysis and comedy.

  • @finn5873

By the way, all of bowser's smash attacks have armor, but he also has invincibility on his shell during up smash and on his feet during f smash. Meaning, F-smash will straight up beat most other moves as they will clank with it instead of going through it. And even if they do beat it with the correct timing, he still has like 20% of damage worth of super armor during the duration of the move.
Flame breath is busted, speen to win.

25:40 I could be wrong, but if you watch closely it looks like Chrom is pulling back way before he even touches browsers shield. If I had to guess, Denzel was going for some premium chrom cheese and trying to drag bowser offstage and grab the ledge himself. He just spaced it TERRIBLY

not gonna lie, Croff week is a really epic idea. Also I believe this is the most BOWSER way to win a Tournament, you got to complete your villain arch at the same time.
Lastly I think the blend off Analysis and Hype is actually not that important to me, go for whatever you want, the more you enjoy making it the more hype will even the analysis be.

cool thing about the explination at the end of the video, that time after arieals can be cancelled with nearly everything, including a walljump! If your character has a wall jump, you can do that ON THE LEDGE to instantly grab it out. Its very weird though, and if you do it too early you end up drifting away from ledge, but at that point u can up-b anyways.

  • @RoboSparkle
    @RoboSparkle Рік тому

I'm just glad somebody finally explained why I randomly don't grab the ledge sometimes, especially since I main Kirby, so I almost always have a jump or an airdodge left and it always catches me by surprise, and I don't think I ever explained the issue properly and nobody knew what my problem was, so that was a perfect example. Thanks!

What gets annoying is when some people start pausing and slowing down and rewinding repeatedly to really analyze a play, it just drags and takes the entertainment out and forced it into more of a purely educational video.
