Good review....! Glad to see you getting some recognition from companies. Getting some sponsors will be great for your channel. 😎Good sense of humor with your "welder" jokes ....I like the one about "break up" - no spark ..😂
I watched the whole video, and hopefully I didn't miss it, but my concern for any of these types of hoods, is - if the battery failed, is there any protection in place to protect the eyes from exposure, because after all, the lens is made to darken automatically at the arcing, so what if the battery or lens failed, would that mean that the darkening would go away and leave the user exposed to blinding light?. Maybe these work differently than I am thinking, but just thought I would throw that out there to see if there is any protection in place from failure of it's main feature.
That is one downside of electric auto darkening lenses, without power, they don't work the same. My previous helmets I had before was auto darkening with a little button cell, and I never changed the cell and it still works fine years later. They have a tiny solar panel on their front, which from what I understand, absorbs power (as if it were in the sun) and either charges the battery or supplies that power to the function of the helmet while welding. So the batteries usually take very little load. I'll contact YesWelder directly and see if they can give me an exact answer for you.
@@TheNateTake Thanks so much for the prompt reply. I have been looking at a helmet by another company that has a lens holder inside for a cheater lens for bad eyesight, but it also has the auto darkening feature, and that is one of my biggest concerns about these types of helmets, so it would be great to hear what you find out from the company. The helmet you reviewed here has a great feature, and that it the clear shield for grinding, I love that so maybe you could also mention to them about adding a lens holder inside for a cheater lens for magnification. I also saw a negative comment on Amazon about this helmet because it didn't have the ability to hold a cheater lens, so that would be a great addition for them to add that ability. 👍
You can buy them off Amazon at this link: amzn.to/4dRsEwy (affiliate link).

I approve the addition of dad jokes...
Thanks, it was a random thought I had to make the welding part more engaging and interesting.
