Personally, the satin black looks so much better than the original gloss version. I think the gloss made it look kind of cheap and not amazing quality, but this satin finish... holy.
I don't know what I like more, the tops are great but I LOVE seeing the through neck with the different woods on each side of the back. Absolutely gorgeous! Great job, Chappers!
Rob...I'm so happy for you....I've been with you from way back...and I'm so glad to see you in such a great place...You deserve all of the successes and achievements you and Chapman Guitar's can reach....you are such a Real Dude and have worked so hard over these past 8 or so years under UA-cam's Spotlight....It gives us all joy to see your excitements as well as for providing such great gear at a cost not saturated by overhead, middle men, etc. I hope to have a chance to get my hands on one of your guitars for a review in the near future...to that I also thank Joe from Riff City Guitar's for making Chapman's available in the US. Regards!
Mr Chapman, your guitar designs are inspiring! I am currently a university student studying International Business, with the dream of opening my own guitar company! Seeing your success and joy gives me hope that I can do it too! Thank you for the quality guitars, the quality music, and the quality humor!
It's amazing watching you guys over the years and seeing how far you've come. Congrats on all the success! Looking forward to buying a few Chapman guitars in the near future!
Ugh I want the satin black so bad. I've never been a fan of these types of guitar shapes, but for whatever reason, I'm really REALLY liking these. Gorgeous with the natural wood all around and the natural color on the sides and back.
Satin black looks astonishing... funny thing is, the more I watch vids with these guitars the more I like their look even though I was not thrilled the first time I saw them
saving up for the Chapman ghost fret. I can almost feel the power in my hands as we speak. the tone is incredible,well.... everything is incredible about the Guitar. awesome job Rob ! \m/
I had followed Chapman guitars since i found it out. I am an explorer guitars fan. Seen that black satin ghost fret guitar make my day, i now begin to raise money for it, hopefully for 2018 i could get one. When i finish my degree and make some money. Seriously Rob, awesome job :), greetings from Spain.
Blue is the best looking one imo, just the combination of orange wood with this shade of blue is absolutley fantastic! Hopefully (fingers crossed) next year I will want an explorer shaped guitar and that will defenetley be CHapmans *GHOST FRET* (every time remember the video of Chapman shouting that).
I've been on the fence about buying a Ghost Fret for some time now, and I never really fell in love with any of the colours (if you made one in satin red I would've bought it in a heartbeat). Then you pulled out that satin black one and I went OH MY GOD YES, THAT'S THE ONE!
Nice to see the other colours at last! I've got a Ghost Fret in blue and on my channel I've published a few videos about it, including a review and a comparison of the pickups with a couple of other guitars (an ML-2 and another guitar with Seymour Duncans). It's a very nice guitar and everyone should buy at least two of them from Anderton's! :) [And no, I'm not being paid to say that, sadly!]
Just brought my first ghost fret yesterday from Andertons. Definitely worth the drive, I tried about 7 guitars and it was the best out of all I played, bearing in mind the others I tried were in thousands.
The natural finish Ghost Fret is gorgeous! I'd love to own one someday. And I swear, if you ever make a V version of the Ghost Fret, I'm forever sold to your company.
I would get myself a ml1 pro, love the sound, the shape, the look and the pickups, but this is one awesome affordable guitar. Let's hope chapman guitars gets the fame it deserves. And you are right, they aren't crazy metalcore active-into-software type of nonsense guitars. Neither do "reinvent" strat or lespaul
The Ghost Fret is an incredible guitar, at an incredibly reasonable price point. Beautiful looking, great pickups/tone, high end tuners, classy hard shell case. If the pickups had separate volume and tone controls, I would "add to cart" immediately, even if it cost a couple hundred more. I have to have that feature.
Ok. This is a random comment on the thousands of videos Rob has made. I've been watching his videos since i was 12, I'm twenty now. And. every. Damn. Time. When i hear him playing, I KNOW its him. He has got such a unique tone and style. After all these years. Just a thought
Loved the satin black, as well as the glossy one, but to be honest, I think both should be more transparent, and while locking tuners are great even if you ever put Floyds on, I feel like a zero fret is missing, but my main gripe remains the reverse head :(
I've always loved an explorer, but I think I like the looks of these even more. I especially like the way the natural one looks and the blue is awesome, but I would have a hard time choosing because they all look stunning. Way to go, good on ya. Cheers Thanks
I will say, the fact that they DO look expensive is even better. The 2 piece back left in the natural finish really seperates this guitar from the crowd.
Receiving my Ml-3 Either today or Tomorrow. I haven't been this excited to get a guitar ! I got a blue one :) Also nothing beats the sound of a fresh guitar :) The black looks simply stunning
I NEED to get that satin black beauty! I'm strictly a fan of standard (schecter Hellraiser) body's. BUT, the satin black Ghost Fret is so pretty! I needz it ^^ Great job on the guitars Rob :)
the natural black is just a bloody dream come true. Always 've been sceptical about explorer "replicas" but this thing just destroys them. I bet this is a new word in the world of explorers
the black one is nothing less then awesome, but I would prefer the blue one. As the Capt said, you guys just got away with an killer explorer type guitar. Well done!
I've never been a huge fan of this body style (Gibson Explorer), but I must say, these guitars are ridiculously gorgeous and makes me want one (well, at least one ;)).
Lovely stuff. The only thing I'm missing from Chapman Guitars is a piezo equipped guitar. I'll probably end up buying a Ghost Fret and throw in a piezo bridge and piezo amp. I'd also love a 24 fret Singlecut with a wilkinson tremolo and I'd probably install a Sustainiac in the bridge just like Steve Hackett (who I think would be a massive Chapman artist - he'd probably be very open to the idea)... Oh well, I go back to my dreams! Take care guys and thanks for all you do!
I would love a satin black 7 string version of this with a floyd rose. That would be the 7 string of my dreams 😀 These guitars are beautiful rob, keep up the good work bro \m/
These are the best Ghost Fret Guitars ever produced. Clearly the Ghost Fret in blue circa 2015 has been a favorite among both fans and Rob Chapman....see Rob's Top Ten Favorite Guitars....However, we're all looking forward to NAMM 2018,and we're expecting this range to be the most glorious to date......
GHOST FReeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttt...
you are everywhere 😂😂😂
Btw, love ur videos ! =D
+Rob Scallon You should get one !
+Rob Scallon Gost frot, FTFY
+Rob Scallon give that guy a ghost fret. he only has boring strat like guitars
how you milk it is how you froth it
Love you guys! ;-)
+Rob Chapman Can i buy one of the ghost frets for free :O
+Marrshuun Dude, even I have to buy my own guitars! I paid for both of these ;-)
+Rob Chapman Hahaha its a tough world we live in isnt it, cheers dude. Make more videos with Dorje?
+Rob Chapman woahwoahwoah
Paying for your own guitars? That's....you're just trying to contain yourself so you don't get tons of them aren't you
+Rob Chapman that is actually pretty strange that you have to pay for your own signature guitars, so that means the is a snag somewhere
1:52 "Seamer Dunker artist"
I had the biggest grin when he opened the black Ghost Fret.
+Woof Haha same
Nice dp haha
:D
Not my style of guitar at all and yet I want one
I was genuinely wondering why they included a condom with the guitar before you explained they were strings...and whether they were all XL.

Public Service Announcement: "Torch" is a British idiom for "flashlight". Do NOT use fire to make your dot's glow!
Not to be picky, it's a synonym not an idiom.
Great looking guitars although I'm not a big fan of reverse headstocks...
Definitely saving up for the black one.
This was so much fun seeing someone so excited about getting a new ax ........
You introduced these in 2015, Bring them back! There's so many many ideas you could've done and can give a go!!
You should try and sponsor Skwisgaar Skwigelf from Metalocalypse with this beauty.
Sick guitars guys, satin black looks killer.
I know ! but the ghost fret !!!!!! Gibson model is the thunder horse
Just ordered a lefty on sale at Musician's Fiend, yes Fiend!!!
Ugh I want the satin black so bad. I've never been a fan of these types of guitar shapes, but for whatever reason, I'm really REALLY liking these. Gorgeous with the natural wood all around and the natural color on the sides and back.
this is one of the coolest guitars on the new market!very beautiful and with the right pickups your best guitar for the money!!!I love it!!
that satin black is absolutely GORGEOUS!!
This is the exact tone i was looking for..! Damn it sounds GREAT
Gotta say, that wood is looking amazing. Satin black looks awesome
Satin black looks astonishing... funny thing is, the more I watch vids with these guitars the more I like their look even though I was not thrilled the first time I saw them
koa top with matching headstock would be cool
saving up for the Chapman ghost fret. I can almost feel the power in my hands as we speak. the tone is incredible,well.... everything is incredible about the Guitar. awesome job Rob ! \m/
Man,that satin black ghost fret is DYNAMITE!!
That Satin finish is utterly gorgeous!!
I had followed Chapman guitars since i found it out. I am an explorer guitars fan. Seen that black satin ghost fret guitar make my day, i now begin to raise money for it, hopefully for 2018 i could get one. When i finish my degree and make some money. Rob Chapman the blue one is still the best, its like a signature colour, its almost iconic.
The special edition black one is the best looking, imo. So that is the one i prefer.
i just saw chapman guitars in a small store in Singapore....they look stunning up close.
I've been on the fence about buying a Ghost Fret for some time now, and I never really fell in love with any of the colours (if you made one in satin red I would've bought it in a heartbeat). Then you pulled out that satin black one and I went OH MY GOD YES, THAT'S THE ONE!

i love how chapman guitars are affordable. im definitely gonna get one sooner or later. this is dope man
Just brought my first ghost fret yesterday from Andertons. Definitely worth the drive, I tried about 7 guitars and it was the best out of all I played, bearing in mind the others I tried were in thousands.
The matte black top with the natural back looks mint!
The natural finish reminds me of Allen Collins' old explorer...NIIIIIIIICE.
The back of the black one is ghoulishly awesome.
The satin black version is simply awesome AF
Natural finishing looks great to me and SD makes some serious buckers!
The natural finish Ghost Fret is gorgeous! I'd love to own one someday.
And I swear, if you ever make a V version of the Ghost Fret, I'm forever sold to your company.
the second a 7 string model is released you will have my money. that guitar is life
I would get myself a ml1 pro, love the sound, the shape, the look and the pickups, but this is one awesome affordable guitar. Let's hope chapman guitars gets the fame it deserves. And you are right, they aren't crazy metalcore active-into-software type of nonsense guitars. Neither do "reinvent" strat or lespaul

Just a thought
I love the one with natural finish because for some reason the color scheme reminds me of bones left in the desert :)
love that natural finish, I'd love ML-2 like that.
Enjoy the smell of success Chappers!
the blue one looks so good. Also like you were saying slime green would be so dope
Loved the satin black, as well as the glossy one, but to be honest, I think both should be more transparent, and while locking tuners are great even if you ever put Floyds on, I feel like a zero fret is missing, but my main gripe remains the reverse head :(
I have 2 ghost frets- badass guitar, easy for me to play, love the sound and build quality
I've always loved an explorer, but I think I like the looks of these even more. I especially like the way the natural one looks and the blue is awesome, but I would have a hard time choosing because they all look stunning. Way to go, good on ya. Cheers
Thanks
I love the feeling you get when you open up a brand new guitar out of the box XD
Love the satin natural. These look and sound incredible
I thought it couldn't get better than the Satin blue but that satin black is super awesome.
Good god! Looks absolutely amazing in black.
Haven't got the luck of trying one, but i just love the way your company is going. Hopefully we get them in chile one day
I will say, the fact that they DO look expensive is even better. The 2 piece back left in the natural finish really seperates this guitar from the crowd.
It HAS to be the Black Satin Gost Frot.
Clear winner.
I don't think I've ever seen such beautiful guitars.......
Man that satin black looks absolutely gorgeous
This needs a version with an OFR,like on the Matthias Jabs custom shop Explorer.
If I had the money I'd buy one just to hang up on the wall, that thing is utterly beautiful (especially in black)
Honestly, you should have made the gloss black ghost frets just satin black like this one, it looks so much better IMO
Matt looks kickass with that satin black Ghost Fret! Damn!
I love your guitars Rob! Hopefully one day I'll get to buy one Ghost fret and a ML-2...or maybe two or three of each!
Receiving my Ml-3 Either today or Tomorrow. I haven't been this excited to get a guitar ! I got a blue one :) Also nothing beats the sound of a fresh guitar :) The black looks simply stunning
Remember that you are in business to please your customers Rob. (At least in part). And I think the ghost frets would be awesome with Floyds.
I can't wait for mine to get here! Satin black is amazing
That natural finish is NICE
The blue one has to be my favoruite :o Good job Rob!
I really liked the blue, but now I really want the black one!!
Looks cool! Still waiting 4 the vintage flying V. And as a lefty waiting 4 mercy. Always wanted one!!
A red one like Bea's baritone would look epic.
Waiting to receive my Ml-3 from Guitar Works in Calgary ! Definitely putting up an unboxing video! The Black one looks sick btw !
And now you finally have the box to send that bright green guitar to Australia. 😊
satin black might be my favourite color of all the ghost frets
happy to see your dreams coming true !! keep on keeping on !!
Well done!
The more shredding the better! Well done!
I'll take one Rob. In green, solid tail, string thru. Thanks!
I really liked the satin green of the original ghost fret.
I've never been a huge fan of this body style (Gibson Explorer), but I must say, these guitars are ridiculously gorgeous and makes me want one (well, at least one ;)).
Satin black is my dream guitar now!!
6:53 - "Oh man, it's all the things." - This should be the slogan/tagline for the Ghost Fret!
I've gotta say that natural one is a beauty!!
they all say hello like Helloooo! its the best thing ever
That black one looks amazing!
They look absolutely stunning.
I would love a satin black 7 string version of this with a floyd rose. That would be the 7 string of my dreams 😀 These guitars are beautiful rob, keep up the good work bro \m/
Love all the satan colours that new black is gorgeous. Green would be sweet an red like your signature telecasters
These are the best Ghost Fret Guitars ever produced. Clearly the Ghost Fret in blue circa 2015 has been a favorite among both fans and Rob Chapman....see Rob's Top Ten Favorite Guitars....However, we're all looking forward to NAMM 2018,and we're expecting this range to be the most glorious to date......
the Blue & Satin Black are awesome looking
Man, those guitars look and sound awesome!!!
The minute I can get one of these in Australia I will be purchasing one, hopefully they come this way!
