Another very good trip into what is also my backyard. I’m still a newbie albeit an antique one and you teach me in every video. Thanks for the ride along, hoping there’s more to come…..Tim
6lbs braid?! Wow that was definitely ballsy. I’ve caught decent Reds on 6lbs mono a long time ago and while it was difficult, if I was on an open flat it was doable because of the stretch you get from mono. 6lbs Fluoro would probably give enough stretch too but I haven’t tried it. Haven’t tried 6lbs mono in a long time because all my reels have braid now and I mainly use 10-15lbs depending on application. Apologies if I missed it but what rods were you using?
Great vid, keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Perfect way to round off your time w the Rival, on the bow and on the fish!
Agreed!
Cheers bro and thanks for sharing the season with us.
Thanks for the support!
Loved having a chance to get out on the Rival with you when you had it!
You slayed bro!

We let them run down here, so we can go pretty light. Cashion rods! Handmade in America! They are great
