I have one question: how do we differentiate between the name Shawn and Sean because they have the same pronunciation?
Based on this video lesson, I feel the IELTS would spell the name out just like Liz considering the same pronunciation.

You do not need to use the dot. In modern writing it is not necessary.

I think you should not write Mr./ Mrs./ Miss/ Ms if it is not uttered
It says Mr. is US and Mr is UK, so better to use Mr
