I swear while sitting on the Golden Throne (while He stares at my sheer audacity) - there is not *_ANYTHING_* that is more satisfying than this game's portrayal of Melta launchers. Weaponized industrialism *_at its most awesome!_* Be it the schemers of Tzeentch - or entire swarms of Tyranids - few things ever get my attention better than solving a problem... *_"practically..."_* "Like this ... designed by me, built by me, and you best hope... *_not pointed at you."_* - Del Cohnager, "the Engineer" _Team Fortress 2_
It shines in damage over time and crowd control, while having great range and high rate of fire. The Multimelter is basicly a shotgun, which has a short range and a low rate of fire but deals high damage per shot. For high damage per shot at higher range I recommend the heavy Plasma Rifle - it has a low rate of fire tho
Gotta learn when to hip fire for those parry/dodges. Heavy Bolter go bur is very fun but getting dropped from to much heavy stance sucks. Awesome video
I want hoard mode so I can play it with two of my buddies, just chilling on the ammo. 1 would be a Vanguard (for ability cooldown and the melta) and the other a heavy while I go bastion. We'd be unstoppable.
To me it just feels situational. Same could be argued for all of heavies primaries really. Melta is good for clearing melee rushing enemies and chunking damage up close. Bolter is great for clearing crowds at a distance and keeping consistent damage output. Plasma is basically just fuck that thing in particular. I started out using the plasma but the bolter grew on me very quickly and now I can’t really see myself going back to the plasma
Plasma will utterly decimate bosses and elites, but it has no crowd control. If you’re running one, your group will probably need a tactical with an heavy bolt rifle or auto bolt rifle to really help keep the swarms down
No you just need to upgrade it and practice. I have a relic tier plasma cannon and I put out so much damage with it that a fully charged shot can put a warrior into the execution state at tier 2 difficulty and instakill the ranged warriors. I can carry my low level friends easily or help my friends level up other classes faster
Btw if you have a tactical with an upgraded auspex you can instakill some bosses with one or two fully charged plasma shots and some krak grenades. My brother used his scan on the hive tyrant and I took like 40% of its health with a fully charged plasma burst
The low tier versions are situational obv Basically 0 crowd control But im sure the higher tier ones can be more widely used Jus gotta grind up and practice w it
Being a Heavy is tough when you're designed for back-up/support but then get swarmed as the melee sucks so if a swarm targets you, hope your teammates are very close to assist.
Some heretics think they can outsmart me...
Maybe... maybe...
But I've yet to meet someone who can outsmart a boltround!

This man was too angry to die
Holy lord. You've given me hope to play the heavy again. When i was first playing i felt like the heavy bolter was weak but this proves me wrong eh?

As someone who started on Heavy, it's scary good. At face value, it's okay.
It gets better as you learn.
@@Infernous32And even if the initial model is weak compared to the melters... It's so much more satisfying to hold off a horde with.
@@bastil5856 I concur. Heavy is unbelievably satisfying for horde clear and boss dps.
been waiting for vids like this, nice clip brother!

Heavy bolter is the word of the Emperor. Maybe it be guiding wings for my brothers.
yes
Heavy Bolter Good
This was incredibly pleasant.
*lines up shot, turns on shield, squeezes trigger, both team mates run in front at that exact moment*
I love that Lietenant helmet so much, I think it's red with white stripes that does it for me
Theoretical: A swarm of xenos attacking.
Practical: Melta!
I want hoard mode so I can play it with two of my buddies, just chilling on the ammo. 1 would be a Vanguard (for ability cooldown and the melta) and the other a heavy while I go bastion. We'd be unstoppable.
I hope they add terminator armor and assault cannons. That would be fun.
HERESY! Brother, get the Bolter. The Heavy. Bolter.
Only reason i play heavy: the heavy bolter!
Fine, I’ll play Heavy! 😂
Fellow heavy mains, am i insane for thinking the heavy plasma incinerator kinda sucks
