What a strange interview. You get one of the greatest composers and you ask him about the movie, about the director, but not about the score. I get why he gets shocked every time he gets a dumb question.
+David Vega yeah it is i thought the same thing this guy interviewing him is a bit off, probably why he only likes to do interviews in his own language..they say "Duck your head"when the movies Duck You Sucker..idk if he forgot the name...not very likely
But he said in the first answer, he can't say anything about the music. Why did he agree to be interviewed.
The greatest music composer of all time.
+12345balla12345 Totally agree but he obviously was never in Hollywood's good books as he just won an oscar for his worst soundtrack. Any of the spaghetti westerns, but especially, The Mission. were much better in my opinion
+archiearchie666 agreed but i wouldn't say worst..
Once Upon A Time In The West.........hands down.
Every heard of Bach? You should look him up.
The 87-year-old Ennio Morricone is the oldest Oscar winner ever. Thank you maestro for not only breaking a major Oscars record, but for continuing to have such an importante presence in the film music world.
love Ennio Morricone he has brought classical music to everybody through film and to a wider audience
A well deserved Oscar®.
Extasy of gold, from the good bad ugly a masterpiece
Rest in peace Mr Morricone, and may you live on forever among your fellow artists in the memories of all people you inspired, you have more than deserved your rest.
Se lo vadano a vedere il film.... ahahah grande Maestro!!!
Amazing Ennio!
ENNIO IS THE GREATEST...
BBC, get your sound editing sorted please, this is hurting to listen to.
Il maestro is very lucky of having been the person who composed the Hateful eight's soundtrack. Without Quentin, he wouldn't have gotten that Óscar he always wanted.
His voice sounds like Robert De Niro’s Vito Corleone.
Terrible interview, you have the greatest living composer in front of you and ask him so many stupid questions
What a stupid question to ask the greatest composer in all of westerns
The pronunciation is Morricone not Morriconi! In italian the "e" sound is always the same. So the "e" in Ennio sounds like "e" in Morricone.
Che intervista insulsa....."Me devi dà n sacco de soldi pe la suoneria"... Immenso il Maestro Morricone.
The english translation is way off. They translated like half the things he said
"La musica se non si ricorda è sicuramente perché non si sente, se non si sente e perché il regista l'ha voluta tenera bassa."
Parole mai più azzeccate sono state dette.
the greatest film composer of all time and the worst interviewer in the same room typical BBC. A great opportunity wasted...
He is a great composer of soundtracks and, much more.
Spaghetti western is not the correct word.
Did you know that he is a very good chess player. He played against the world champion Spassky and did a draw!

"News and Scoops"...Surely not a euphemism for gossip?
Rubbish questions
An incredibly corny Englishman.
Spaghetti western and Coca-cola western.
Awful interview. Music so different to the film. The interview guy is not getting that. Shame.
riduculously dumb questions
Awkward question
