How did it perform?
Amazing how well these decks can operate and how fun they can be when you don’t get cheesed by a turn two double KO. You just have to get super lucky for that to actually happen…

Hear me out: Vespiquen Ex and Meowscarada ex.
Meows hits target and alakazam radiant moves damage while Vesp hits multiple for 3 damage to each benched with a total of 150 total spread damage if done right
Modify to have the new raichu to spread damage to switch counters with a total 250-300 per turn.

I tried that at Sacramento regionals it did not go well

Yeah, i agree with the others. Not that ideal. phantom queen requires 3 grass energy which competes with meow’s bouquet move.
I play a Meowscarada / Tsareena deck. Bibarel/Skovet engine. Also features Radiant Alakazam and Pidgeot. Tsareena counters the fire weakness to radiant Zard and Arcanine

I have a similar list, and I love it! I opted for lumineon/seal stone and greninja over the bib engine. I also run 3 energy retrieval and 1 super retrieval along with town store. People said I was crazy for running three stage 2's in one deck, but Irida is clutch!
Omg! I’ve been waiting for this! I’ve been running it with bib Skwovet! It’s been working so well for set up! I’m so happy to see this list and will def try it out
25:00 Would retreat into floragato with TM: Devolution be a play here? They used 2 rare candies and can't attack with rad zard since he knocked your meowscarada the previous turn

Mist energy does not deny abilities only effects of attacks.
Maybe the moon deck you could attack with floragato? Not sure if itd help but maybe xD It does seem like the deck could use a good one prize attacker to force a 7 prize game.
A winning list in Japan yesterday has Dudunsparce as Meowscarada's draw engine/pivot along with 3 Jacqs and the Rotom. Seems super fun and consistent

I’m currently running a Mewoscarada/ Gengar list with Bibarel as the draw engine. And threw in the neo upper energy
So basically insert Pidgeot and Arven into a stage 2 deck and it works lol
Stage 2 decks are already playing Arven so it's more just splitting your bibarel line with a Pidgeot line

18:06 I''m so surprised you didn't put the 30 on the Cleffa for KO and then use your attack for turn to KO either the Pidgey or Charmander, whichever one he promoted after Cleffa went down.
Meowscarada's ability only targets the bench. Also If there was no bench you wouldn't be able to use the ability.

Was honestly thinking Lost City is really valuable in this deck if ur taking multi prize knockouts with Meowscarada, forces them into an awkward spot and is the most viable stadium outside of Artazon for super aggressive turns

New to the game, at around 27:50 why did you not grab Alakazam with the buddy poffin? You were even saying "we need to find Alakazam here" then right after used the Pigeot search to pull Alakazam. Was that a blunder or is there a mechanic I'm missing that whole series of events?
Edit: nm rewound it and reread the buddy poffin card, didn't see the 70hp max caveat or notice that you tabbed from "valid" to "all"
On 33:00 you scare from rare candy Charizard, but really maybe more scared was a gusting card.
They already attacked with zard so they cant boss for game there

can someone explain the strategy of using Quick Search to get an Ultra Ball to then get Bibarel instead of just getting the Bibarel? Only thing i can think of is to thin out your hand, but wasnt sure if that was the actual reason.

Why not play prime catcher instead with a vitality band? I think max belt would only be better against gholdengo or am I missing something?

@@bonglochistisbean2318 iron hands for example has 230. Zam moves 20 and now it has 210. I'd imagine it just increases consistency slightly. But I could definitely see other ace specs being good. I think grass honestly just needs more tools for their consistency to make this deck a lot better.
@@icephoenix174Doesn’t meowscarada do 200 with dte? I think vitality covers it and prime catcher seems like it would be so good in here but I guess I haven’t played the deck myself yet.
Max belt might still be better though it seems like it makes the math way easier

In gameplay, Future box are not tanky due to their decent HP unlike ancient ones that can buff up its own HP until its KO. But its fast pace and effects can change the game (iron hands ex with double prize for a single prizer being KO.)
Meowscarada ex can do decent gameplay for as long as it requires a grass energy to put damage counter on a pokemon so it can attack with High damage, but weak to Jirachi's.
Jirachi only blocks damage counters placed by basic pokemon, so meowscarada is not affected by it
(Also, it only blocks attacks from placing counters, not abilities)
game 2 turn 2. why not put the 30 dmg on the cleffa to ko and then ko whatever they bring in. to put them down to 1 pokemon in play

Day 265 of asking for a gardy/drifloon/bravery charm deck
I honestly don’t like the pidgeot in this for some reason. Since it’s an easy 280 HP liability for spending a rare candy, I’d rather run Arceus and stick with a Biberal engine.
Pidgeot is really good in here imo
@@LittleDarkFury I’ve tried Pidgeot many times and I always have issues getting Pidgeot + Rare Candy in hand. I’ve been running Arc/Arven/Evo with I think a 4-2-4 of the Sprigatito line with Bibarel
You can use pidgeot inf and Ark 1 time and have same hp
