PSA: tier 2 and up ships have been banned from the sector, meaning that you will not need to build disperses to stop averts (you may still need some as point defense against anthicus attacks)
Dude so you're telling me you can use disperses to destroy projectiles? WHY IS IT NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE I LITERALLY HAD TO REBUILD MY ENTIRE DEFENSE LINE TO CRAM IN 2 WATER COOLED DIFFUSES AS A MAKESHIFT PROJECTILE DESTROYER
This sector is difficult till you figure out how to deal with the scathes. You put small walls against the environment walls with regen projector. That takes the scathe out of the picture.
I tested several times on this sector by conquering and abandoning the sector. Attacking from the right side is much easier because you can cut enemy power supply. 1. Creeping Afflict on the right side without any units (to prevent Scathe firing at your turrets). Afflict also outrange all enemy units. 2 Afflict is sufficient to neutralize any enemies. 2. Use Regen projector, Unit Repair Tower, walls and a single T2 unit to draw Scathe fire from those creeping turrets (or else it is difficult to put forward turrets without Scathe firing at it once in a while). 3. Grab thorium patch on the right and produce more power using the Arkycite pools. 4. Produce T3 Anthicus (41 range) to creep on the right edges on the map, build healing outpost with walls for those units to heal and shield from Scathe 5. Build the core on the right to increase unit production to 30 and siege the core on the top by creeping on the right to avoid Afflict and Titan fire. 6. The game is pretty much won once the 2 chemical combustion generator groups on the top base are destroyed by Anthicus fire. The left 2 cores should be left close to defenseless because Arkycite supply has been cut from the right. 7. Sweep up those 2 left side out of power bases
Well played. I believe this was before this sector becomes easier, by replacing ship refabricators with mech ones and extending preparation and escalating time.
I won it at the third attempt. First i didn't build defence strong enough and died. Second time i made a hole in the wall of the left defence to lure enemies away from the right base but eludes went through it at the speed of sound. At the third attempt I've build five tanks on the left. But while i was building them the enemy units were piling up and attacked the right base all at once. I didn't expect that and didn't build strong defence there. It had the tungsten ore and couldn't build more tanks without it so i had to attack with what i had and hope i would find more tungsten. Then i took back that part by launching t3 crabs with payload turrets
I've been unironically playing this sector for 9 hours as of this point in the recording, only about 3 hours of footage. I have two cores left. At this point this level is genuinely making me wonder if I even want to keep playing the game, even if I do win xD
I liked it when on my first attempt the enemy just constantly sent stuff through the left canyon with the right one being attacked when everything was already going to shit, and on the second the game just went "hey, why don't we pull a complete 180 and send everything on the right this time?"
Crossroads is the next map in the campaign tip: build tier 3 ships (obviates) as soon as possible, because there is an enclosed base directly to the south of your core which will make its own obviates after 20 minutes or so, this is the only enemy air unit production. The only way for your base to be attacked from the ground is from the south east corner of your starting area with mechs (starts with cleroi, becomes anthici after production escalates). Enemy units will not come from the south west path into your base, that path only exists to roll your tanks (if you have any) onto the 3rd core. The second core (east) powers the shields.
I've noticed a flaw in your tank movement skills (during your attack on the 2nd core): Even when there is a hole in the wall, you keep the tanks targeted on a tower while they are still outside the wall, which means they keep shooting the walls before the turret. tl;dr whenever you can move your units past enemy walls during an attack on their base, DO IT. (this is what makes mechs difficult to defend against)
Very much a fan of this game... and looking forward to the next update. Unfortunately once you unlock everything, I don't find much motivation to keep playing as the "replay-ability" just isn't there for me.
Nice game, i too have struggling in this sector, mostly because i always run out carbide and time, and funny enough while you attacking from the front right now i am attacking from the back door
Technically you can skip tier III first hand and go tier IV units with the starting resources and I put like only tier IIs on the left side, then waited for unit cap and charged it all in

This was medium? Now its hard, it was so hard to do it alone to me so i had to call a friend to comand one side. But the strategy come out after like 25 min in game and after 2 failed tries. We just puy everything we could get on one side, ships, tonks, crabs and t2 of tonks and crabs since you cannot make t2 ships here. And with some patience (and baiting the rocket launcher) he did dominated one side, while i tried to generate as much energy as posible to get some of those turrets that require energy. I ended up attacking the enemys base with that thig, but we couldnt make t3 to make it a decent attack since we didnt have thorium, or at least after we got our first base on either side. Pd: my friend had to disconnect halfway, but he dominated so hard the left side that he could make more cores (he didnt, it was i) and with the t4 he had, rushing the last base wss easy. Edit: the t2 ships are now unmakable in this sector so it wasnt that hell of a rush, but still was something bad

This is the sector where I stopped playing Erekir campaign. For me, a PC player, it's not hard, no. It's the painful reminder that every sector just feels like a glorified tutorial. In every Erekir sector, the game is borderline unbeatable without using the tech the game wants you to use. Iff you don't use shockwave tower, scathe will r8pe all your new frontal bases and you can't get thorium for T3. Without a T3, your army won't stand a chance against affict, sublimate, and scathe. The painful part isn't having to adapt to the situation, it's to infer what Anuke wants to force you to do, then anticipate enemy stuff while using buildings and units that's unlocked on that sector. Air units are banned here too, which is just annoying how you know they'll die to those units, but the game bans you from using it because they want to force you to use new tech and stuff. The only core depositing and reduced building to building damage is also discouraging turret sieging or manually loading factories. Erekir campaign basically took the most fun thing in Serpulo, creativity, and went "Nah. Fuck this" and made everything painful unless you use the intended solution. Don't get me wrong, I love Erekir. But I would rather play on community maps to learn about Erekir rather than being forced to play tutorial levels every single sector just to learn 1 or 2 things.
Anuke Logic be like: Put hard on an extreme sector, put hard on easy sector' puts hard on sector harder the PLT, Puts medium on a extreme sector
