    Hello Lester,
The Rolling walker is a good idea for Paw Paw. I became ill at 57 and started falling. I used a rolling walker going to Doctors Apt’s and Hospital visits. I could walk a few steps then sit down and rest before taking a few more steps. I didn’t want to use it at first but it has become my life line to move around my house. He may not want to use it at first but over time he will see it will extend his ability to get around in his home.
Thanks to the person who sent that to Paw Paw.❤

I am 61 years old and have to use a walker because both knees are broken. I have been waiting for 2.5 months for a call for the first operation of my left knee but the hospital is apparently very busy. I think a rollator is a lifesaver. It allows you to keep moving, which would otherwise be completely impossible.

I so enjoy seeing what people have sent. I love what people think up for these two, that work so hard and give so much to the animals that they care for. Bowl is for popcorn???? I know!!!! It's for the muffins so you don't have to go back and forth to the bag!!!!!! Ha, thats it!!!!!! Gifts are so thoughtful.

    Lester,
I've used that pully system when I have gone to PT after I've had surgery on my shoulders & it does help but your to put your back up next to the door not your front, because if you put your front facing the door then your forcing yourself the lean into the door, were as if your back is next to the door your making your back pull up stright & not putting any added pressure on your arms/back & shoulders.
When all else fails go to UA-cam & watch how they tell you to do it there, you can't just do it one time, you have to do it like 10 times & then stop & go on to something else & then do it 2 or 3 times a week 10 times each time. You don't want to over do it. Or maybe you could go get some PT one or 2 times & then just do what they teach you at home if you have to pay out of pocket.
Over time if you keep it up & work at it slowly it really does help & it will make your shoulders feel much better.
I've had 3 Rotator Cuff surgeries my right shoulder twice & its no fun, but if you do what they tell you in PT you'll feel so much better. but really turn your chair around & put your BACK to the door.
    Adele

I noticed that PawPaw has had a lot of problems with his legs since the last flood at Plum Grove. I think he worked too hard getting his house protected as much as possible as well as protecting the animals. He legs have not been the same since. BTW, I love my rollator. I have MS. Yes, it is hard to accept our failings as we get older.

I broke my shoulder in 3 places last year. Part of my rehab at home included a door pulley. You have to slowly build your reach with it, and you will see an improvement. It’s been months and I still do it. Keeps my shoulder moving. I’m 71❤

That shoulder "pullie" is brilliant 👏, my Nanna used to suffer from what's called a frozen shoulder, and my grandad made a pullie system in their garage, using a tennis ball to hold onto attached to rope, that went around a pullie used on building sites. Now this was 40yrs ago, so lovely to see someone has made them to buy.❤

The rope on the door is a range of motion exercise. Thumbs up positions your arm so the joint moves correctly. Only go as high as you can stopping when it starts to hurt ot when it's bad. ❤

When you do the shoulder work outs, don’t go all the way. Do midway for some time to get you used to it. You can also stand sideways by a wall where you’re far enough away to just touch the wall with your fingers then slowly walk your fingers up the wall. That helps too.

The tenants be able to go back to normal too. So the more you exercise that arm on that sighed with that Poly, which is a very good idea. It will help build everything back up and not shoulder

For the bull pen before Chuck comes, maybe if you built an enclosure big enough for your tractor carrying a bale to come inside, then you can enter & close the one gate, then open the gate on the side of the bulls. I'm hope to be getting one for myself soon.
I have bad osteoarthritis in my hips and low back, and I have to take breaks or use a shopping cart for support.
Those things come in handy, and especially if you're out and about OR at home.
I just get the old fashioned snap traps. 🤷🏻‍♀️
It sounds bad, but that's the whole point to get rid of the varmint.
I just bought myself a tripod.
I don't do videos like y'all do, but I have Zoom appointments with my doctors, and it makes it easier.
Lol, I had a feeling folks were gonna start sending you gloves since you've had a lot of cold times over at the other property.

Great live today. How wonderful for Shirley Turner to be gifting memberships. That is so lovely and I am sure those in receipt will be sooo so happy. Very Kindhearted.

The door pulley is Lagit. I have a similar one that I used after my shoulder surgery. Just raise your arms until it slightly hurts . Every day try to stretch a little more until it goes straight up, maybe after surgery that will happen.

If nothing else, pawpaw can use the walker around the house. I had to use one to go everywhere when I fractured my tibia in 2013. It was a lifesaver for me.

It's a good walker with a seat. My mom uses one as well. Life changer for her! Please use it PawPaw!! Hip replacement is no fun!❤❤❤

The arm that is going up, needs to stay lax, other than holding with your hand. The arm pulling does all the strength, it helps stretch out the bad shoulder. This does work, I have had to do it.

I totally understand what you’re saying about your dad falling. I went through that with my mom and recently saw my 62 year old husband fall because of the chemo treatments for prostate cancer. It heartbreaking. That Rollator is great. I’ve had to use one recently as well. Just don’t forget to put both breaks on before sitting down.

I have an allterrain walker and I love it. I would still fall on gravel or un even walk ways.

We had to get my gran one and she refused to use it until I left it by her and she must’ve tried to move it but yep she started using it, it means if he gets tired on his feet he can put the breaks on and have a seat for a little while, they’re really good ❤
