Had a chance to visit Raipur, Jagdalpur, Kanker, Chitrakoot waterfalls and Bacheli iron ore mines when my father was posted in SSC Raipur. It was somewhere btw 1996-2000, I don't remember exactly.
I still remember the taste of sarson-ka-saag at a small dhaba somewhere in Kanker, it was the best. We were given Ambassador car by the commission.

Excellent idea to show the chitrakoot waterfall in its natural sound....
Bus journey also good, but personally I don't like that seating cum sleeper buses 😢
Come to konkan region of Maharashtra just after rainy season...
And travel to the remote villages by MSRTC , locally termed as just ST, or
लाल परी or लाल डब्बा 😊
You will find old Ashok Leyland Cheetah buses or maybe a Ashok Leyland Comet too....
In Maharashtra we say----
गांव तेथे रस्ता, रस्ता तेथे एस‌् टी.
Which means where there is a village there is a road and where there is a road there is a ST.
