As a less than a year old group they did an amazing job with this projects..XG are very talented group. Every time they come out with new musics I always keep telling to myself that their style of musics are not kpop where all the productions are loud with catchy beats..No No No,That’s why I Stan this group..They always kills it..I’m true believer this is just 10% of what these girls can do

I really like Shooting Star and I think it’s their best title release so far. We definitely haven’t seen XG at their best yet but imo they are consistently getting better. I really want XG to do a real hip hop track some day where their rap line can just go off like how they did in the cypher.

@@Renzo_ they are kpop. They might claim to be a “global” group but they only focus on competing against kpop groups. If they were actually global they would be performing on late night shows in the US or along side 88rising but they don’t.

Love the swag these girls have with that RnB style - not a typical girl group. I look forward to hearing more from them.
The video is so detailed and packed full of Japanese Y2K culture references. From anime like sailor moon to Godzilla, kawaii culture, gyaru culture and so much more. It was really fun for me watching it, it showed and reminded me of all the fun aspects of Japanese Y2K culture. They are showcasing their Japanese side with this track because they are a Japanese girl group and not kpop. I think this is their best release so far ☺️

I've been showing this to everyone for the 90's nostalgia. Those air brush t-shirts, all the boots with all the fur, hello kitty large tees... And then I'm showing my Gen Z coworkers and friends and they're like "wut" lmao, they like the style not realizing that that's what we all wished we were wearing to school lmao it's okay. Just a special little hug. And all of them would not have been born, so there's that too, but I appreciate their people making this special little gem.
Tippy Toes was their debut, in March last year.

Yeah, I definitely agree with you guys' comments and thoughts about XG'S new song. I do admit, it's a catchy, uplifting, and happy sounding song. Pretty much, an easy going song to listen and groove to, while you prepare for work or going to school, in my opinion. XG'S visuals are through the roof in this video, they all look really good, as well as the brightness and colorfulness of the entire background of this video. I am glad to still see that they have not lost their swagger that each member brings to the table. I feel off camera, that these ladies are true, close and tight friends, that have each others backs, no matter what. (Friendship Goals, for real!!) And, I just basically think they are an awesome group of Ladies and talent. This is an exciting comeback for XG, and I am looking forward to hearing more from them. XG get better every time they come back! I wish they had a bside that was really rap heavy bc their rap line is cracked, but this release is great
XG is such a talented group; it's so unfortunate that they don't gain more popularity in Korea where they are based out of... not sure why, but I guess many factors... Koreans taste of music, XG CEO saying some things about Korea, or maybe it's just Xenophobia at play. XGs success will depend a lot on International fans. Anyways, XG is #1 GG for me 😍 Keep streaming, keep supporting...
The thing about the CEO is a lie, it is a *former* CEO of *another company*, XG belongs to XGALX and their CEO is Sakai Simon (half japanese, half korean).
To be honest, I've seen a lot of ridiculous excuses to cover up their xenophobia. But anyway, XG is a Global group not only because they sing in English but also because their music is heavily influenced by Western music (mainly American) and is made for an international audience (mostly westerns though)

Probably because they're an all Japanese girl group that sings in English that's being marketed and promoted in South Korea? What is XGALX's goal here? It would make sense if they were doing this in the U.S, but they're not. It's like trying to promote an all German girl group that sings in German in the U.S.. XG's last song "Mascara" was a little over half a year ago. What have they done consistently since in terms of music, shows, etc? They're just trying to use the Kpop platform to springboard XG.
Just because you people like the group doesn't mean that Koreans are xenophobic. That's ignorant. Contrary to the bubble you live in, not every Korean is into Kpop. Some listen to trot, ballads, K-HipHop, etc. Same thing how in the U.S. not everyone listens to Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, etc. People like to listen what they like.

I grew to like this but definitely my least fave tt. The auto tune in the beginning is just too heavy for my taste…but the vocal parts are 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 All in all they are just killing it and we need a full album lol. Thanks for the reaction guys!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

xg girl group idol is a girl group composed of Japanese people from a Japanese enter tainment agency,with all seven members trained by Korean experts in vocal dnnce training, choreography, costume makeup, and everything in korea. perhaps because of the influence of the agency, xg is also not popular in korea because there is no appreciation and respect for the Korean entertainmet industry and k-pop that help them.

Their exec producer's decision to base XG in Korea since day 1 due to the country's mature idol-making system is the ultimate respect to the Korean entertainment industry. Even their non-Korean trainers(Sienna Lalau and Kiel Tutin) have been crafting Kpop choreos for years.
