I could understand the crowd’s reaction given that this event happened before anyone saw that damned finale, but I appreciate the actresses for acknowledging it as the root of the relationship between their characters. They embraced it before it was cool to do and for that I’ll forever love them 💜

And they do so many interviews etc. they don't remember what was said exactly and in what context. So people took it as Renee saying it about Lucy when it was actually Renee saying it about Gabrielle relating to Xena.
