I've been looking for this song for a very long time. I had the first two lines from the chorus and that was it. I thought it was Faith No More lol. Hells yeah
The song is awesome but there is one thing I don't understand: why do they mention the Bee Gees? I have nothing against Barry Gibb's group but the fact that they wink at this disco band makes Nü-Metal lose its identity. What need is there? because I don't see any reason why Nü-Metal should be envious of this famous 70's band... pls! 1. If the Bee Gees wrote Nü-Metal songs, they wouldn't come close to the quality of Korn or Linkin Park (same if Korn or Linkin Park did disco songs, each in their own way). And 2. Nü-Metal is a musical genre that has achieved an UNPRECEDENTED merit: that the sound of heavy metal WILL REACH MILLIONS OF EARS LIKE NEVER HAD HAPPENED BEFORE {Something incredible considering that metal is a very forceful style and seemed like a mission impossible), not Metallica, not AC/DC, not Bon Jovi, not even Black Sabbath, it has been Nu-Metal that has attracted many young people who were initially uninterested in metal! My hypothesis is that this is because Nü-Metal artists want to show their tolerance and open-mindedness to other styles and maybe that's why they mention artists from other genres.
Ehhh, I think you're thinking about it more than the people who made this song did. I don't think they thought much of it other than "that would be a cool shout-out/reference!"
