Would you do it again?
I’d say it was a big help that I work with tillage every day, and the fact that it was a smaller machine. It’s definitely not a small task!
How wide is this cultivator, and what size 7R are you pulling it with?
The 2230 is a 29’6”. This is the widest working width that uses a 9’ mainframe, so it folds a bit skinnier. The tractor is a 7290R, so we have about 10hp/ft which really is more than enough to pull it 9-10mph.
how long would you say it took to put together?
We weren’t billing ourselves on hours, thankfully, but we estimated around 50 hours between myself and my dad... when he wasn’t on the phone.
