    Is it alright to not throw in the off season? a lot of people just stop but it seems like you would want to continue your throws training year round?

      I'm a thrower and I do all the throws. In off season my coach says it's to focus and getting more stronger, explosive and to improve your techniques more.
      Though your not throwing an actual implement the techniques that you're practicing would have the same stands, position, strength and release of an actual implement. So it's still like you're throwing but not actually throwing the implement of whatever throws you do.
      But when it's off season now and it's time to throw you would apply all you did in off season and it wouldn't feel as if you didn't throw all season
      This is from my personal perspective but others may think different. I hope this helped. ♡

    What do you think of combining the front squat and push press (something similar to a thruster minus the clean) as a throwing exercise?

      If you want your lifts to correlate to the throws, it's hips then arms.

    What's the difference between a snatch or a power snatch?

      power snatch is catching the bar above parallel and snatch is squating all the way down

    What if my gym doesnt have a high enough ceiling for push press?

      Honestly just explosive seated shoulder press, that’s the only thing I can think of, but how is your gym not high enough?
