And at the end it's the grandmother fault for enabling her behavior. Grandma and the famaily needed to let her hit rock bottom. This is exactly how this "community" got here by sending their mistakes to the grandparents house. And I'm going to go further by saying this is how a lot of these working class areas fallen because grandma, auntie's, etc.let the strays into their home along with their mutts because they wanted to be a humanitarian.

I agree with everything this woman said. The comments that hit home for me was "women will tell you the truth, isn't the truth." I believe that this is notorious with black women, each one I've been with have done this. They never want to admit they're wrong, they do and say stupid things that make no sense and most importantly, they never will apologize to you. I don't see the reason for being involved with them anymore. They make false accusations against you because she didn't get what she wanted. She starts and initiates practically every argument and fight; commits the most domestic violent acts and sends the man to jail because she has to play the victim when the police show up. Fellas, walk away and then run as fast as you can. Again, they're just not worth it!

I'm still annexed from my brother (son husband) and mother from being honest. My father was kicked out when I was 5, since then she brought men in the home and went to the casino as I was left at my grandmother's since 14. I'm the youngest of 3 and we all have different fathers. I told the truth after 30 years about how that felt or, better yet, not feeling like I was loved due to the beatings and anger through my years. They put me on their crap list and refuse to talk with me, and also the same with my daughter. Fuck em

If I am being honest, I think one of the reasons why my marriage ended is because I became very conscious of how unconscious my decision-making has been over the past 30 years. Because of my trauma and my hurt, I settled into a lifestyle that was comfortable, but I would often project my stuff onto my then husband and so the most compassionate and reasonable thing for me to do was to pull back that energy that didn’t serve us and really take accountability for my stuff even though the truth of my behavior was really hard to take in. But the amazing turn of events there is that he actually benefited so much from my lack of understanding myself that when I pulled back all of that toxic energy, he didn’t have anything to feed off of so he spiraled, he cheated, he went outside the marriage. We co parent well, but the other side of this coin is realizing that there are people who benefit from our lack of self awareness.
