I am so happy to have found this video and my question is can I buy a sim here, buy data and use that sim only? How does it work? Can I keep my number? Please do a sim card for dummies reply. @@HarryNicNicholas you want dual sim if you travel alot. Especially since not all networks are available in some regions like where I live. This helps alot with constantly switching simcards.

Hey Sam , I have a serious concern, i accidentally poked my microphone hole beside sim try with ejector tool .... Is it a matter of concern, did i damage the waterproofing or any other issues related to microphone. Reach me out I m super panicked its a bard new phon it's been few hours only.

Thank you for the tutorial , I hope you respond to this post, I have a carrier unlocked S21 plus 5g , I have T moible as the main carrier amd I also have an AT&T # I recently transferred the AT&T physical sim to an E sim and added it to the S21, I see the dual sim always on option but it wont let me select it or activate it , so.in order for me to use the AT&T # I have to switch off the T moible sim and reboot the phone then it physically changes all my apps ect ect help! I would like the dual sim to be active ASAp ! Its a ridiculous process to have to go through, thank you, hope all is well !
Honestly I am not 100% sure, the USA networks modify there phones so heavily that when 1 sim card is changed to another... it does the whole changing of built in apps to e.g ATT or T-Mobile. That is the unfortunate state of affairs in the USA for the carries when using Android devices, another reason why the iPhone *just works* for many

Your phone will need to support two sims, if it came with one slot it might not have the hardware for the two. eBay would have been where I looked as well.
@kevinpyne6949 it will only have 1 sim slot in terms of hardware, you can't buy a double slot and have it work as the hardware isn't inside for it to work.

The problem with this dual sim handset is the software hasn't caught up with the hardware. For example, if you want to use RCS you can only do so on one SIM at a time. There is no option to have it on for both SIMs at once. Just one reason why it's better to have two phones, albeit not as convenient as having one dual SIM handset.
OnePlus has mastered this since the OnePlus 2 I think. You can turn off different SIM slots to have only one or both active at once and it's a physical double tray. Super easy, never had any issues in the states or overseas
No. Whatsapp can only be linked to 1 phone number. After you setup whatsapp, you can change the sim, but it will be linked with the number you set it up with.

Doubtful, most phones in the USA have missing features that the rest of the world gets dye to your carriers eg Verizon, ATT etc

Hi Sam, Is the S21 model presented here one that I can find in US? I heard that not every country has this feature (dual sim).
Unfortunately this is a European model, looks like the USA version drops dual sim due to the carrier networks

Did you find an answer to this?
Yes you can run two different networks on the dual sim. Most networks give away network unlocking easily now. It worked on my s21a year ago

You can use 2 different networks, that is the idea of a dual sim device :)

You'll get calls from both, if in Eg sim 1 then sim 2 can still call and will beep telling you, you can put sim 1 on hold whilst you take sim 2 etc 👍🏻

No. only 2 physical sims or 1 sim and 1 esim. You can't have 3 numbers.
