I've always said that CB is most Difficult position to play outside of QB in football. You definitely need a special set of skills to match up, know your defensive scheme, study your opponents routes, match their quickness, speed, etc.
I would say its third to MLB.
@Anthony Fellows and in front by the linemen. However, the best MLB play sideline to sideline and are the defense playcaller for the team.
It can be brutally mental too. One man gets past you and that can be the difference between winning and losing the ball game.

Not that I was ever a pro football player but playing when I was younger, I played Corner Back it Safety and Wide Receiver every year and started every year both ways, there truly is no comparison, being a cornerback is so much harder than being a wide receiver. As a wide receiver all it takes is that one play for you to break away, all it takes is one good route whereas the corner back has to guard you perfectly every single play or he risks a touchdown or big gain. A cornerback can’t take a play off, a wide receiver can take off every running play. He did a great great job at defending that guy.

This is my favorite video so far on your channel and what earned me a sub. That last play was well guarded, and that is an amazing coach (obviously the WR is a pro player so that speaks for itself) but I loved his approach to coaching and hopefully it's always lighthearted like this.
