- In the video I tour Bahia Honda State Park including the camp sites, tent sites, cabins, and even the newly opened Sandspur Campground. There are many waterfront campsites with amazing views. I camped here in my B-Class RV. This park has three beaches and offers many places for snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. There's even a marina with boat launches for boaters! There's a concession building that has a big gift shop, small cafe, and offers equipment rentals and snorkel boat tours. With so much to do and explore it makes a great destination for individuals as well as families with kids to enjoy the outdoors.
It's a definite must see! This is a great place to spend the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday Season.

Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Like so many others, my lifestyle changed due to the pandemic.
Before the pandemic, my families lives had become so hectic & busy that there never seemed to be a good time to travel anymore. Somewhere along the line we realized that our last vacation was in 2011. We decided that it was time we made some travel plans.
Then the pandemic hit! I no longer wanted to travel by plane or stay in a hotel. We decided that a bettter and safer alternative would be to travel in our own vehicle, one that we could also sleep in, cook our own meals in, vacation in. The rest is history!
However, the RV shopping process is not easy and required a lot of research. I want to share what I have learned along with my ongoing experiences and adventures through my channel which offers:

We stayed in the new campsite three weeks ago. Site 50, the one you walked thru. It was an amazing three days. We could see the milky way at 3 AM after the moon set. We met you at Gamble Rogers earlier this year,. We ended up buying an A Liner. It works great for us. Hope to run into you again some day. Happy Trails.

Hello Melshel, Thank you for the compliment. It is very tough to get a reservation anywhere in the Florida Keys and the state parks are booked 11 months out. They release new reservations everyday at 8AM and if you are quick enough, you can grab some reservations. Thanks for Watching!

Great video…been to the beach a few times. Unlike many travel videos, You the speaker arnt the main focus. The cool location is. The camera is wide view and thankfully held still much of the time. It gives the viewer the ability to clearly see the location you’ve filmed. Very easy watch!! Bahia Honda is a jewel!

Would you recommend or advise against camping in the keys during May?
Hello Rob, May is the start of the rainy season, it will be hot, and humid but as I live in South FL, I am use to it. For me, any time of the year is a good time a year in the Keys. Thanks for Watching!

What is the charge for rent camping here?
