I bought an Ibanez AZ premium 7 string a few years ago and just didn't jive with the neck shape and fretboard radius. I wanted to love it, and ended up selling pretty quick. It was a beautiful guitar and sounded incredible. Just wasn't comfortable for me to play. Still bummed about it. I probably should've just re-radiused the fretboard and slimmed the neck. Oh well, we live and we learn

I had the same experience with the JPX. The neck kills me on that, but the JP13-Majesty are perfect.
Interesting? It's the same thoughts for cars , trucks , tools , etc .
I'd imagine this philosophy extends to any area of life!!
