I love this video. I was in my teens in Carrick when this was shot. Brings back lots of memories. The town however looks amazing today and has changed for the better.
A very special place is Carrick. My father's side of the family all came from there or abouts......the Courtneys...Walshes....Campbells...Leslies. Manys the time I've visited there down through the years.

Just found out that my Great, Great Grandfather came from Carrickmacross , one of the Hanrattys he married Kate McGawly.
