From a microbiologist POV and experienced China traveler, the strain is far worse than SARS was (according to American, Canadian, and Indian CDCs) especially because of expansive Lunar New Year travel and transmission to all 30 provinces now. You have a good outlook, eat healthy, and exercise. Life is a roll of the dice and your odds are definitely much lower right now, but I feel you'll be alright.
I appreciate your 'peaceful' take on your experience being in China right now. That's good that you haven't had any problem with acquiring supplies. Staying indoors and staying healthy seems like a good plan. Part of our family lives outside of ShenZhen, and we just made a video about how the newest travel restrictions and closures have affected their ability to get back to their home and jobs.
4:24 the government took precaution too late. They even detained the doctor/s who discovered it. And made them sign that they did something illegal. This was when the number of affected was below 50. If they listened to those doctors and had precautions in place at that time, this problem wouldn't have escalated so much. Over 300 deaths. Not counting those that some say were being burned.
Mohammed Aliyu Yes Beijing is pretty quiet right now! So many people went to their hometowns for Chinese New Year, or they’re staying inside because of everything happening! I’ll have to check out your video
