that black component attached to the tub that has two wires going into at 1:22 - what is it called? seems like this is instead the float switch on modern dishwasher. I unscrewed it and there is some kind of plunger that's can be pushed in and it's on spring. I measured the resistance. Pushing the plunger barely affects the reading if at all and it reads 1.7k ohms. My dishwasher is constantly filling with water and then emptying. it is as if it doesn't know when there's enough water in it
