Hi Poppy, thank you for your question. Yes, the Orficast was heated prior to moulding. The material can be heated in a water bath at 65°C/149°F.

Hi there! For an adult, the Orficast 3 cm is too narrow and will not support the thumb. For a small child, the 3 cm width could perhaps work.
