I'm confused as to how this game will be played? I mean it has servers and stuff. And what happens when I finish a mission, will it be more endless missions if it is an online game? Can I replay the mission I just finished? How will the game prolong? Like is it a level up game so players can grind? I'm confused on this modern type of metal slug now.
According to how Megaman X Dive is like. I assume this is the kind of game that normal difficulty playthrough will be a cake walk while on harder difficulties you need to grind your gears hard just to survive when enemies all have beefed up stats. The real deal is going to be PVP where you brawl against another online player like you are playing Super Smash Bros except it is P2W heavy so having a right build is more important than inputs. So yeah I assume if you just want to beat the main story on standard difficulties then leave the game it is possible. But if you are up for bigger challenges or even competitive, be prepared to pay, like a lot.

I like the 'adventure' premise, makes it almost seem mmo but side scrolling, would be more fun if it was 4 party multiplayer as well. Don't like the rest of the game, graphics, auto-aim, "RPG" mechanics (health bar and damage counter)
