My friends tri volored appy john mule is named Pajamas. Ha. He was a rescue from terrible abuse. His spots have spots within and roaned spots when shed out. She looks like she will have some blending as well. I just love thos melded dpots on her face. Like they wanted to be stripes. Cute as all get out! Whatever that means..

He wasn't prepped for it but he paced with the horses so perfectly that they thought he was a super trained show donk. The crowd chanted...DON-KEY....DON-KEY! and the horse people were pissed. Haaaaa.

Our plan for Clyde (white mule), Reata (Dun mule), and Timber (Grulla horse) is to keep them forever and hopefully have the best retirement pasture ever when the time comes to retire them. They’re never leaving us 😊 Cedar (sorrel mule) is a little too small for us, but she is extremely sweet, so we may sell her to a very good home in the future- once we’re confident that she is safe 😊 We’ll see what happens with this appy… we’re both already getting attached and we’ve only had her two days lol
I would named it Lookie, why? Looking Glass was a chief of the Nez Perce, who breeded the appaloosas and they lost a lot of this horses in this indian war in 1877. Lookie is a wonder❤

Super good question! Nope, we just loaded her loose because she isn’t halter broke and she’s a little too small to shut in the dividers. It’s not ideal, but horses actually ride pretty well in stock trailers without dividers. That’ll be the last time she has to ride like that though, because Alyssa’s getting her halter broke now 😊
