Beekeeping for beginners, hands on class

Queen Bee, Amy Nickerson and I held our first of 3 hands-on Beekeeping for Beginners classes in Hampden Maine today. Next two are May 18 and May 25. It was a beautiful day in Maine to teach beekeeping!

Aside from cost savings, what are the pros/cons of a soft inner cover? Do you create an upper entrance in the warmer months? Great content. One of my go to channels. Thanks!

They can act like a gasket on some of my very shoddy equipment. They can be problematic if you are in an area with small hive beetles.
