My parents do support my hobby to a certain degree, but they were taught that dolls are for children like many other parents were. So they do support it sometimes, even when they believe it's not the right thing for a person my age. They do not support the fact that I keep buying dolls as they believe I have too many, and do not support me buying anything for my dolls. That is why they do not gift me doll stuff for birthdays or Christmas. It puts them at ease that they do not condone it, but they also never forced me to give up something I love. They do their best to support me because they love me, as any parent would. But they understand I don't play with my dolls, it's a creative outlet for me. I didn't mean to make it seem otherwise in the video. My mom understands why I like dolls more than my dad does, but my dad also never let his judgment of dolls stop him from taking me places to do photoshoots and helping me make hooks for my dolls or holding the camera while I film a video. He just doesn't like how I let my anxiety make me reliant on them. But he will still bring a doll to me when I have a panic attack. So though he doesn't know how to comfort me himself, he does know what does the trick! X3
My grandmother tells me that I have a problem and that’s why I’d buy dolls and the rest of my family is very sarcastic about my dolls, but they all support me fully in my community. You either are on drugs in a mental hospital or are on the street homeless and I have a stable job, I pay all of my bills and I have dolls and I think that at the end of the day the only reason my family still buys me dolls buys me things for my dolls and supports me is because like I said there are so many people in my community who just go down the wrong path and because I have a squeaky clean Record and everything and I am taking care of myself and everything. I think they just see the dolls as a way for me to stay on that path and continue to grow and be successful. Not really sure I’m not them, but I am very grateful that I do get dolls for Christmas and I do get asked to see them or to hold them or to look at the new outfits that I got them, I am also grateful that I have into the new relationship where my partner supports my doll habits whereas my old partner did not
'let' is what makes me sad... They do understand anxiety... They just call it something different and deal with it different... And it doesn't make what they do any healthier. A lot of our parents generation stuffs and that's bad for your heart and blood pressure.
Great Video! There's nothing wrong with doll collecting as an adult. Also, everytime I look at Nanea I'm like "Omg, she's so pretty. I need her." Definitely the prettiest historical doll ever made in my opinion. She'd be the first doll I'd get if I wasn't planning on buying a CYO already.
I loved this video so much! I love it when people share the backstories of when they got there dolls and it was so fun getting to hear your commentary! I can really tell that your dolls mean a lot to you
Hi,thankyou ⁴ sharing ur story through ur AG Doll's❤. I was dyeing laughing when Luciana kept losing her eye glasses 🤣🤣🤣,soooò funny.I can relate to being calmed down by ur AG doĺl's,i have alway's been calmer when i was w/ my girl's.i been a A G collector now a short time however way way back like in early 90's my Mother bought me 6 AG Doll's & thier whole collection.Sadly my Mother has been gone 😭now a lil over 10 yr's.Make a very long story short i didn't think of all the cash she spent at AG ⁴ me ,i had either gave my Doll's to lil girl's or sold real cheap. Now i can say i will never get rid of any of my AG Doll's or their collection ever ever again 😮.Live & Learn huh😉. Thanx again for the video,t/c. Warmly, 💕Lisa Marie
Great video! You go girl! Do what you love! I’m almost 60 and have about 400 dolls (lost count) about 20 American Girl Dolls and about 20 to restore and resell.
What a beautiful collection! I adored listening to all your stories of how and when you got each one. ,🤗 I can relate, they are such amazing comfort for me! 💕
I love your Chrissa doll as a boy! I think the Josefina doll makes the best boys :-) And your TM21 is precious. I had one in the past but I didn't connect to her. Yours, though, is beautiful. I was cracking up at Luciana's cockeyed glasses. I could go on commenting on every doll...thanks for sharing your collection!
This was so great to learn all about your dolls and all about you at the same time. And I LOVE that your mom affirmed your love for your dolls by buying you Nanea and the poodle skirt outfit. That had to make you feel so, so good. I also just checked out your AGIG. You take beautiful photos!
So you considered the A.G. dolls as real girl children and liked hold and lull them between your arms? For me is the same: I am not a child and neither a teenager, but I love, love, love my American Girl dolls, I love hold them between my arms and take care of them as treasures. Rebecca is wonderful: I know it because I have one too: you didn't miss anything to have her instead of Mckenna; the dress which yours wears is a little masterpiece, I like it very much. I understand how long could be the waiting to receive the dolls in Japan: I live in Italy and even I, when order a doll, have to wait about a month to have her at home; but it worth of it: it is as a new child comes in the family, you can only love her!
I love this video and I love your energy so much! I subscribed right away 🩶 I love how much detail you went into, it makes me feel connected to your collection too!!
Hi there ! I just found your channel and you are so pretty and sweet I really want #21 she definitely looks in brand new condition !!lovely collection ❤️❤️
I am sorry you had to go through losing your dad. That must have been very hard for you. You have a beautiful doll collection. I especially like your Saige. Enjoy the fun of collecting. Your choices so far are very pretty!
You have a very nice doll collection! I like how they all have different meanings to you. I just recently started getting AG dolls. I have Corinne & Maryellen. My next doll will be Claudie.
My Corinne has hearing aids. My mom accidentally added it not realizing it effects the doll... I'm glad though because when I get Joss I wanted her to have other Deaf friends because community matters🍓
I just turned twenty! Doll collecting is just something a lot of people don't understand, and some people are less open-minded than others. All that really matters at the end of the day is that they love me, which is why they put up with me haha

You have a beautiful collection. I just got my 32nd ag doll today!
aww, exciting!! what doll did you choose??
@@youngagstudiosI got Saige! This was a such a late reply sorry. Now I have 48 dolls lol
@@youngagstudiossorry it wasn’t Saige it was truly me 121 who I named Rosa!
Nice to see a 21! I have a minty 21 as well. Named mine Audrey. Pincurls, just like yours. Got lucky on Mercari. So cute! Nice collection!
I absolutely adore my 21! Not many people have her that I've seen, she is really a spectacular doll.
@@youngagstudios I think she looks better in person than in their old stock photos.
Hi there ! I just found your channel and you are so pretty and sweet I really want #21 she definitely looks in brand new condition !!lovely collection ❤️❤️
Same I need a 21 even more now... She was on my list and now I moved her to the top.
I am sorry you had to go through losing your dad. That must have been very hard for you. You have a beautiful doll collection. I especially like your Saige. Enjoy the fun of collecting. Your choices so far are very pretty!
My dad was in the military haha, that just means he was deployed a lot
You have a very nice doll collection! I like how they all have different meanings to you. I just recently started getting AG dolls. I have Corinne & Maryellen. My next doll will be Claudie.
Those are such lovely choices! Happy collecting!!!
I love this video idea!
My Corinnes middle name is also Mei 😄
That might be the official name
I tell people it could be worse! I could be wanting Gucci or Prada or other super expensive stuff! Dolls within a budget are cheaper than dr*gs, too!😂
I tell my family "At least I'm not into drugs!" though the reasoning falls on deaf ears lol xD
My Corinne has hearing aids. My mom accidentally added it not realizing it effects the doll... I'm glad though because when I get Joss I wanted her to have other Deaf friends because community matters🍓
aww that's so cool! sometimes I forget that any doll can have hearing aids.

Hopefully your parents come around. Maybe sharing other adult doll collecting content with your mom would help her understand. How old are you?
I just turned twenty! Doll collecting is just something a lot of people don't understand, and some people are less open-minded than others. All that really matters at the end of the day is that they love me, which is why they put up with me haha
