I can’t imagine there’s a better feeling in poker than having your opponent drawing dead all in on the turn in a $2m pot
Literally nothing. This is the pinnacle of poker highs lol
What about the 600k he almost guaranteed to win for being the biggest winner?
not just in poker, in the whole world 😂
patrik is always rock solid, remember when he called phil laak with 104 of spades? but when eric says all in you can see patrik's anxious, he knows hes gonna call and the money means something to him.
@@bipolarpunt5721 They played for 2 days with barely any action. Persson finally had to much coke and blew up and now we have the winner. I doubt there will be a pot half that size again.
Imagine losing a million dollars while dressed in blue spandex.
Lol seriously wtf is he wearing
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Underrated comment 🤣
I hate his style so much
losing a million dollars with queen high
Patrik read this fish like a kindergarten book. The fast snap raise, the quick call and “let’s go” after the 3 bet on the flop, table talk trying to intimidate patrik from betting more, snap shove, then when patrik asks “what do you have?” persson nervously answers by telling him his chip stack - dead give away. Even though Patrick’s flush could be dead and could be drawing to two outs he knows even eric isn’t stupid enough to play 8s full or trip 3s like this.
That’s exactly what I was thinking .. about him playing 8s full or 3s (quads) like that. Only a super amateur player would play it like he did .. Eric likes to bully and he’s been caught so many times 😂😂😂
Eric thought Patriks down bet on the turn was KK or QQ. Honestly patrick should check the turn imo. But it worked out perfect this time.
@@mikegoodwin5951the down bet is genius. Applies pressure to 8x qq, jj,1010, 99s and makes Eric spazz out with worth flush draws.
Well to be fair you kinda need to know how he normally plays. He could have a balanced snap call range.
Patrik has been waiting for his moment and the boom, $2mil pot
Yeah it is like Jamie The fish Gold is back in town.
People said he's boring to watch because he doesn't play big pots - hes way smarter than that. He waited patiently for this spot.
Patrick didnt hesitate very long. Against robi he folds. Against the fish perrson it's a insta call
yea im thinking his strategy is working for him. just wait for the biggest idiot to make big mistakes
@@RobbieStacks90 Me: Sees clip headline. Also me: "Hahaha...Pearson got stacked."
He made that call for 542k after only 13 seconds of thinking. So impressive. I loved watching him be in high alert throughout the hand once he realises it's for big money. You can see his eyes go left right thinking at high intensity.
I guess when there’s already 900k in the pot it was a relatively easy call
I mean if u fold this against crazy player like person u should not sit at the table.Even against a 3 u have some outs and 3 is unlikely and person will have full house close to 0% of the time here.
@@user-ly5oo2hd7p right persson isn’t jamming a boat there, he’d want Patrick to get there if he has hearts so he would’ve just called
It wasn't likely Eric had pocket Aces. Eric did not reraise preflop. Patrick only pause because of the amount of money but it was an easy call. I would call that even if its means walking home a hundred miles.
This format has a 20 second clock
Persson's ego vs Antonius' brain in this hand
When is Persson going to run out of savings?
Patrik Antonius winner of the biggest online poker hand and TV hand. Nice
Eric Puntsson. Absolute legend.
One punt to rule them all
Couldn't have happened to a better "Persson" 🤣
Ego got him
JRB would be proud of that punt 👏🏻
Patrik: “What do you have?”
Persson: “I have about 700K”
I think he was asking what your hand was, Mr. Drawing Dead.
i thought it was going to be a massive flush over flush cooler but i saw a paired board, got confused then witnessed the biggest punt in poker history
Antonius should’ve needled him after and said “welcome to the big leagues, kid”
THE BEST PART OF THIS MONUMENTAL MOMENT WAS THAT IT WASN’T RUINED BY SHOWING THE COMMENTATORS * NOTE TO POKERGO
*NinE oR a QuEeN*
Persson is a classic fish , dress like one too
that 150k bet on the turn, I first thought it was a trap, that he wanted the guy to semi-bluff all-in, but Patrick's slight hesitance said otherwise.
Lost 700+ at live at bike
Punted 550k at hustler
Lost: 450k pot to Andy stacks with J4.
Lost 950k at poker go.
And many more.
Biggest cash fish and punter in the game.
The tell was him announcing what he had left
I love how every month this dude ends up on the wrong side of the biggest pot in poker TV history.
You could see Persson was staring to become nervous and sweating, he turned into a river right I front of us
@ 0:57 is the first time I've EVER seen Patrik break character
The high stakes chips at the Aria are the most beautiful chips there are!!!
Losing 1 million in a single hand is just impossible for me to fathom
I kinda feel bad for Eric, he's going to seriously damage himself and the people around him if he continues his peacocking charade.
It’s that big of a punt even Rob couldn’t believe it
What does this guy think he looks like in the Lycra shirts 😂
Couldn’t have happened to a better player. Antonius has always been a great ambassador for the game. Congratulations!
He really is!
Never looses his cool , never complains, never berates other players, just an absolute legend of the game!
Not to mention notoriously runs bad in big spots
I've been watching Patrik Antonius play poker since 07' the most relax dude at the table 💯 of the time.
the only player I'd rather see in Persson's chair is Hellmuth, but I'm very happy to see Persson lose this hand.
Was about to write this comment.
Persson asking for a 9 or Q after realising Antonius has the nut flush draw not realising he was drawing dead is pure comedy 😂
This guy should not be in these games
It was funny but I feel bad for him. You could see how nervous he was throughout that hand.

I love it. Eric's personality annoys me and I love how cool and decent Patrick has always been at a table. Epic overplay by a giant fish.
Eric has massive bully energy. Having been bullied a lot as a kid, I can spot it a mile away.
@@ligafftheindifferent3495 The only lovely thing about that is he gives Helmuth a show for his mouth :P
He can afford it. CLEARLY

And that's the thing about him. When he loses it all, and he will, he won't have anything but the memory of his money as his best friend.
It was an act of class from Patrik not to ask how many times do you wanna run it 😂
Haha didn't think about that
gold
that's like that football team that went for the two point conversion at the end of the game when they were 57 points ahead
I don’t think they can run it 2 times because of the side bet
Perrson is too dumb to realize it was probably a joke to rub it in.
I have always appreciated how patrick conducts himself at the table and is a high limit stud, im glad he has the record and scooped that from eric
Patricks a G
old school. Cool as a cucumber
Still a crazy call with top pair and flush draw.
High limit stud 😂
@@josephdale69not as crazy when you consider it’s against Eric. Would’ve thought about it way longer against most other players and folds to a few. Eric is a snap call though.
I hope its not just me absolutely loving watching Eric lose big pots.
It’s not just you, Eric is a fool. Not even smart enough to know he’s drawing dead when Antonius shows his hand. I laughed.
nah, most of us probably love it. He is a terrible human being imo.
This is 100% pure karma, watching this new generation arrogant pos punt to a classy legend like Antonius just feels right
It's comical how Eric thinks he somehow intimidates other players.....such a clown
Antonius doesn't get intimidated. He only plays logically and leaves the emotions at the door.
I like how $67,000 is described as being "left with crumbs". I wish someone would toss a few crumbs my way!
More money than I've ever had or seen in my entire life 😢
Patrick saying “call” and showing almost no emotions is honestly such a boss move. I can’t stand Eric, this was a joy to watch 😂🙏🏻🙏🏻
Can't stand him either👍😎
Same. He's such a tool.
He was actually clearly nervous, never seen him like that before
@@tapatapaz I actually think he was so surprised and like confused not nervous. Although who knows… Eric’s line made NO sense. He either had a weird nutted hand or absolute nothing…
eric makes the gsme actually entertaining. some other just sit and show nothing, so boring
Persson makes JRB look like Phil Ivey 😂
Needless to say, Persson finally stopped talking after that.
I’m dead 🤣🤣🤣
he stopped talking REAL quick lol
lol not much to say after that i suppose
Set almost a million on fire. I’ve only seen the Joker do that, but this guy is a bigger clown.
@@timpayne1057 why is this Persson so serious? 🤡
This is the punt of all punts. I like how Eric doesn’t even consider the full house combos he loses to on turn considering how preflop action went.
What combos? He has no clue what he is doing.Patrick click back on flop was also weird tho.Why would u go nuts with Q9hearst on this board.Even him playing lots of hand is unlikely he has a 3 and even if he has it he migh slowplay it decent amount.
Absolutely idiotic to work as hard as he does and get so greedy.
I can hear him screaming right now!!!!
I know exactly how Eric Feels. I did this once in a $1 - $2 for $100.
@@williambenson8641 I don’t think Eric cares about the money. Think poker is more an ego thing for him.
Someone should tell Persson cocaine is not his friend at a poker table 🤭
Patrik is such a balanced player he just moved through the hand textbook and handles the betting without any change in emotion.
He's close to the number 1 spot in all time losses.. wtf you on about?

Eric is stunnnned. I can’t stop laughing, when he says 9 or Q and the table has to remind him Patrik hit the Ace and he’s dead. Almost felt bad.
Right dude believed he still had outs...NOT drawing dead 👻
That was definitely the best part of the whole delicious thing………
LOLLL I didn't pay attention to when he said that 🤣🤣

I watched this 30 times already, can't get enough. When Eric calls for a Queen or a Nine you can hear someone muffling a laugh...lol simultaneously I did the same. The largest punt in Poker history.
Eric is a truck, but I think that was him laughing. Minus him, there is a lot of class ay the table.

I had to watch it 10 times to get the magnitude of that pot and hands.
@Mark Vanderkam Wow that’s quite the theory in 🤡🌍 anything’s possible

@@xtremev1 Yes sir!
I love how Eric snap-raises the flop without even taking a moment to consider what he’s repping by doing so. The value combos that want to get more money in against an uncapped aggressor’s range are few and far between. Then he tries to give Patrick the badass stare-down as if he just made some genius play.
Antonius is an absolute beast in cash game for more than 2 decades now. What a legend. Deserve this historical pot.
Yeah. I would be very careful with Patrick
Patrick read that dude like a book.
Eric Persson was also part of this pot. He made historical punt.
Watching this live on PokerGO. Persson was so speechless when Patrick called and saw he’s up against AK hearts, he actually thought 9 or Q was an out for him without realizing that Patrick hit the A on the turn and he’s drawing dead 😂 friggin epic. Did he lose a huge pot?
This was hilarious. Yesterday he got back to even and was like "I am taking over the table" Then this happens. Gets 700k in drawing dead. ROFLL
I can't believe I just witnessed the biggest punt in poker history! Eric may be an action junkie, but he just donated a massive sum to one of the greatest players in the game. Congratulations to Patrik for taking down the record-breaking pot and solidifying his status as a true legend of the felt!
Persson better hope his casinos do well. The money he’s using is just burning up 🔥
I think all that table talk on the flop gave away to Antonius that Eric didn’t have a boat , a extremely savvy live player like Antonius picks up on all that stuff eric says , I think all that table talk helped make the call a lot easier on the turn for Antonius
I think the turn "you don't want to do that" when Patrick was beginning to bet on the turn was an obvious weak tell to me.
The ultimate punt, so enjoyable to watch.
I absolutely love Eric. Action junkie. He is just so easy to read.
you're right specially with the nuts poker face in history Patrick antonios
He's one of my favorite players to have on these games
I’m sure your mom loves him as well 😉
The modern Bill Perkins (The Businessman), only not as bad.
@@mrheckles6076 I think Bill would be a significant favorite in nearly any full ring cash game or especially if he and Persson played heads up. Not saying that even as a diss on Eric, but Bill has put in a ton of work on his game with very solid coaches.

I guarantee you in 1 year you won’t see Persson playing poker.
6 months.
His ridiculous company bankrupt too
Love it!! Pearson has a way of saying these back handed compliments and needles. He is in way over his head here. Even young isn’t that big of a fish. So unnecessary, paired board, Patrick was showing lots of strength. Snap raising like that is such a tell toward a draw. Watch Pearson on his nutted hands, he always takes time. Patrick knew he had him.
You're 100% spot on and he did the same crap on day 1/2 which I'm sure everyone watched later. Patrik knew he had him
Yeah spot on analysis there, and right to the point. Another tell was steam coming out of Persson's ears. The way he handled chips, jerky movements, leaned forward.. He looked like he was on full tilt.

This guy is all time Punt Master. Wow. Congratulations Eric and Patrik.
Congrats to Eric for losing all that much money 😂
I think at 0:50, Eric is making fun of Antonius (doing an impression of him saying he wants to be out of position). And Antonius just laughs at him. I’m not sure why but this feels quite prophetic.
Persson punted so hard they're still looking for the ball.
Wow, Antonius is my idol. Only best wishes to him. I'm happy.
What a punt
Eagles could of used him in the Superbowl.
Yeah, mother of all punts.
I nominate this hand as the most satisfactory hand of all time! Persson pulling all his bullying tactics and failing, not only in the end but on every single street. The flop 3 bet is oh-so-sweet and the river call without taking a long time is legendary. The completely dejected look on Persson after his every bully move failed.
Add to this that Persson is totally dead on the turn with all the money in (I need a queen or a 9....ummm) and a gentle legend like Antonius not even having to sweat the river (that high stakes poker hand with Jamie Gold was so annoying where Antonius got so unlucky) and winning a massive pot.
It's been a WILD few days in the live-stream poker streets, and this historic moment is the best icing on the cake. What a banger!
Antonius a true pro. Different than just being stupid agressive on a low strength draw. A lot of people fold to that big money over agressive behavior - so guys like Eric keep doing it. Pays off when you have the nuts.
He was way too aggressive. To me it was similar to the way many bots play. He deserved to lose that pot.
i do not know anyone who folds there , even if he did have a set which was unlikley , you had outs
@holdem5180 about the only thing you can realistically put Eric on that is beating ahkh on the turn is exactly ad3d. theres no other a3 suited combos available. 88 I guess. After the turn A Patrik is beating everything else he could have and its Patrik so he knows it.
I don't know how much poker Eric has played. What I do know is I use to watch Patrik go at fearlessly on full tilt back in the day. After Patrik reraised him and all Eric did was call is when Patrik ruled out the boat combos he could have.
Its as if Eric got offended by Patriks raise pre. Like who does this guy think he is kinda thing. Definitely the wrong guy for Eric to try and muscle. I just don't know how he doesn't know that.

Great to see Patrick coming back like this, after he couldn't find into the game on the first day. He was patient enough to not force it, and when he finally got into the zone, he took full advantage multiple times. I thought he has lost that skill in the past, but men, was I wrong.
The only thing worse the Persson's play was the commentary on this hand. We'd rather hear what the players say than a commentator drowning it all out screaming a play by play of what we can clearly see and could have heard happening.
