Sesame Street - Jazzy Spies # 6
Вставка
- Опубліковано 20 лис 2007
- This is the first time I've posted Jazzy Spies # 6. This was not from my old collection but from a trade. This used to be on youtube but, like so many other S.S. videos, was pulled. Either the user pulled it himself or he or she got suspended. I've finally decided to post everything I have reguardless of if it's been posted or not. I'm sick of skipping posts because they are already here and then posting them after all because they disappear. I'm also sick of posting videos, then pulling them because a better quality version appears, then RE-POSTING them because the better quality one disappears! So I hope no one gets offended out there when I post things that are already here!

many thanks for replying, this has been bugging me for more years than i care to remember. it's about time someone at a very large corporation gathered up all those tunes from sesame street and put them on cd or vinyl.
How the hell is it that I remember this. Every flash of colour. The chord at the end. That crazy woman getting all excited about a number.
I could be 5 years old right now. God that's weird.
A choo choo train with the number 6 on it, this is a very good Sesame Street jazzy spies #6 treasure!
I was born in 1981. These were still airing in the early to mid 80's.
0:21 That bug sure knows how to groove.
This is what Grace Slick meant by "feed your head."
You're welcome. I wish they would do such a release....if they can both find good quality audio (and video if they're going for DVD too) after all these years, and get all the licensing issues (of which I expect there are many) sorted.
Best kid show encasing education, pity it;s not on anymore!!!!!!!
Time to watch some Yellow Submarine!
Love how the numbers appear to the song's rhythm, slo mo at times.
and they wondered why i had nightmares when i was young:(
Thanks for posting it. It's ok if someone has already has posted it, no problem.
I agree with you: I was blown away to learn this as well. So cool!!!!!
I wonder if Sesame Workshop would be getting angry letters from parents about the spider, bandits, etc. if these sketches aired on Sesame Street today?
It was Denny Zeitlin, who later did the music for the original film INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS.
Does anyone know what instrument is being used at 0:22?
I heard it was a clavinet but when I hear other videos of clavinets being played, they sound nothing like that.
It might be the proto-electronic "rocksichord."
I remember also seein "SIETE" which I saw reran during summer '88, at the time it was 10 yrs that I had seen previously reran summer '78 in original English
I don't suppose you have the ones done in Spanish? The only one I ever distincly remember seeing in Spanish was for the number 10.
Thanks tons!
Off to watch Yellow Submarine!
grace slick is the voice
that is 6 guys revealed as being under the costuume of the fire breathing dragon.. who promptly get sucked up into a steam-powered-cold-war-era dust buster...
Fantastic that the ten-character video ID contains "OutRoCk".
@67nairb You're right, my friend. They were only done for 7 and 10. God bless!
I was hiding behind the couch sweetina666....but i love you like Crowded House....I grew up in New Zealand....take the weather with you....
checking out the song again, thank you:)
@twistedbabydoll It's one of those Chinese dragon costumes that a lot of people wear at once.
Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane lol
+sweetlife031 Grace. Slick. Rules!!! :-}
God bless you grace
Who proceed to get vacuumed up by a number 6. The folks at PBS ripped off Yellow Submarine.
00:32 is a King with 5 subjects....that makes 6!
I found out on muppetwiki!
and for me it was hiding behind the couch when the storm came and the Maoris came to chase you to eat you alive....
Did they do a Spanish version of the "Jazzy Spies"? Was this in the original Sesame Street?
~Ra'akone
Find it IRONIC there's a 6-man Human Centipede in here…and that the creator/director of that trilogy is named Tom Six? I posted that on Creepypasta's Facebook page.
does anybody know who composed and played the music this series of animations?
Denny Zeitlin
@@michaelglickman1300 With Grace Slick on vocals.
@twistedbabydoll Well she was in San Fran in the early 70s!
@twistedbabydoll The human centipede, of course
A conga line?
There's so many things to be offended by. First of all, those guys being sucked up by the vacuum cleaner.
The only one I remember in Spanish is "DIEZ"... so whether they did all of them I don't know... maybe not.
They Spanish versions of these cartoon segments I remember.
1,2,3,4,5,6 ok
Oh, it's still on. It's just not as good as it used to be.
@twistedbabydoll Human centipede.; duh.
I am sure that if this played the pinball segment did not play
Glad others noticed the Human Centipede at 0:32
