  • When an older adult or individual with dementia begins to have mobility challenges it might be a good time to look at mobility devices. There are several available to choose from. In this video I demonstrate various types of walker, rollators, and canes that might be helpful. Be sure to consult with a local occupational or physical therapist to determine which device is best for your loved one.

Welcome to Dementia Care Hub where I share weekly videos with tips and strategies that you can use right away to make caring for a loved one with dementia easier.
I’m Dr. Kristen Galloway, a licensed occupational therapist and Certified Dementia Care Specialist. I own a private practice Florida where I help individuals with dementia remain independent and safe in their homes for as long as possible. I also provide caregiver training to make caregiving easier and less stressful for family caregivers.
I created Dementia Care Hub when I saw that there were so many family caregivers who were overwhelmed and struggling to find resources to make caregiving simpler.
I hope you find my videos useful. Feel free to comment with suggestions for future video topics. Thanks for all you do as caregivers! It takes a lot of love, compassion, strength, and effort to provide care for someone with dementia. Hats off to you!
