    Even though I agree, I also think it must be said that the other 4 players must be able to retain the CTs for a good time by getting kills or surviving, like XMS and Scream did, if not, once sixer and these two are dead, a relative early full rotation can be called and its a 3v2 with almost no positional advantage. I believe many people say its "baiting" because if the Ts faking can't survive for a while, it just ends on a 1 (or 2) v 4 (or 3) and it doesn't make much sense. So even though happy does a great job at calling the rotate, I believe the Ts that sell the fake with kills are the mvps.

      @rushbcykablyat1792 7 років тому +2

      Their strategy is kinda like sacrificing the team to get a confirmed bomb plant at B site with 2 people. Not sure what's the strategic advantage of this compared to trading kills and locking down A site with 2 more people(rbk supporting the team and happy flanking before his team dies etc).

    • @YTFRWJfan
      @YTFRWJfan 7 років тому

      rushbcykablyat well if you execute it right I think you have better positioning so, if it is well executed I do think it is better.

    • @rushbcykablyat1792
      @rushbcykablyat1792 7 років тому

      But wouldn't rbk and happy have the exact same better positioning at A if they locked down A instead?

    Happy will be really happy about this. His Bodyy might even feel a few shox and then he might ScreaM as loud as Steel smashing against Steel. But I really think that he is a s1mple man and it won't Mixwell with his Swag but then again it could be an Autimatic response just like when you have an AdreNaline Rush, or then again he could just feel n0thing at all. I will also be Happy if you like my comment.

    I find the example of the Happy-rounds an extremely good example of why he isn't doing a good job. To break it down: to lurk is to try and get behind enemy lines when the rest of the team is taking another part of the map, taking advantage of confusion. While in this case Happy is just waiting for people to leave the B-site to then take the B-site. He doesn't try to kill rotating players, nor does he try to help his team on A. He did nothing what the definition of a lurker prescribes.
    "But they won these rounds" you might say. Well that is indeed try and an indisputable fact. But it is also undeniable to say that this had nothing to do with lurking. At most these were elaborate "fakes". The first round shown is a full gun round, and the reason they succeed is not because Happy gets an epic flank which catches players of guard and blows a hole in their defense. It's simply because the other 4 manage to kill everyone at A, basically. He literally played 0 part in that round.
    This is something Sean points out though, and tries to counter this argument by showing us the next round. But the same exact scenario develops. His team goes A, he stays B-long. Not trying to get into to action, to aid his teammates. Once again it is at most an elaborate fake. But this time it was against a forcebuy. And it doesn't even go as smoothly as the previous gun round, they lose more players! So in my humble opinion a strong case can be made that if things happen a little different, the A push gets shut down way earlier! Even now it was already a 3v2 but it could be worse! And this is my argument for why Happy's form of "lurking" is not useful enough. He was again just waiting for the B-site to empty, not trying to help his team proactively. In a round such as this (an anti-forcebuy), it is realistic that if he went with his team they have a greater chance of success.
    Overall I don't think these rounds are arguments to be made in Happy's advantage, quite the contrary though.

      @Uri6060 7 років тому +1

      TheGreatEagle it does work in mm tho, you just have to have some sort of authority. I have made calls on the fly using this. usually only warning but it let's my team know to not reveal themselves and if it's only me and bomb we can usually win the round on 2 v 4s and such because I cleared site.

    The only thing with what Happy does on Cobble, is if they rush A like that, and the B players rotate, they can now boost in drop and throw everything off, but I guess that's a huge risk that you have to do blindly on info from past demos.

      The intention is letting their best aimer (Scream) kill the cts who will be distracted (or will have their positions exposed) by the other players going first. So he just has to focus on killing the ct instead of also having to find him first.

    Your title makes it seem like you want to learn people how to lurk without baiting, like happy does. It kinda looks like you mean that happy is baiting :p

      he does bait though lol, these clips show off the few times he did it right, most of the time on cobble happy will just sit above drop and wait for his whole team to die or until there's only one left then he'll START flanking... this inst an accurate representation of happy's average playstyle tbh
