Ha ha, nice score. So much gold left behind in old equipment. I have scored off old bucket line dredges, suction/jet connections, ball mill liners, hydraulic jigs, old timer cabin floors, old wooden sluice boxes and probably a few more forgotten. I know guys who made bucks from leaky leach pipes, old mine salvage, and just plain old gravel operations. My take tike was probably just a few ounces, the other guys I mentioned recovered pounds! The more gold processed the more gold lost.

I know exactly how he felt scoring that 3oz from the centrifuge. I bought a truck that had been used as a mobile dry blowing plant for $5k & after flushing every piece of accumulated dirt from all the chassis rails, including inside them with an adapted vacuum nozzle, inbetween the rims and particularly the spare tyre I got nearly 3/4 of an Oz from it. 🤑.

Water filters won't be able to cope with the mixture of recycled dirt/clay. Hence the problem with the jets even with clean water.

It’s crazy how different peoples opinions on water conservation are depending on where you are in the world. I live in a place where we have 10X as much fresh water as we need in every direction. Then there are places like California that won’t even let you water your grass. People throw it away here like it’s nothing. People around me literally can drink from some of the creeks and don’t get sick.

I just asked a similar question, paying for water delivery every few days when they could reuse water with settling ponds, maybe it evaporates fast in that climate or is full of chemicals after use, i have no idea.

You need to give these guys proper acting lessons. Seriously, the music soundtrack may as well include canned laughter because this is all unbelievable. It's always the same
formula. i.e. Oh, dear, we're in trouble if we don't reach the target. Then suddenly, "oh wow, look at my clever idea that no one will believe in". Meanwhile, Dad struggles to remember
his lines and as they're weighing up, son says, "better add this lump in as well". Well, will y' look at that? Seems the kids can stay in private school, after all.
